The path of awakening is blocked by karma

Every single moment serves awakening, but if you have lived a life predominantly scheming and manipulating your way to get what you want and have never desired truth for its own sake then you will not awaken in this life time. The only one who holds you back from permanent awakening is YOU and when I say YOU I mean the character you have constructed. 

The problem with dishonesty is it is inconsistent, as such your ability to make sense of things is compromised if you spend your time scheming to get your way. When you spend your whole life denying responsibility and culpability it becomes impossible for you to awaken. Why? Because the only way to awaken is to do the opposite. This is why I call awakening the moment of truth. There are MANY people who have taken 5-Meo and discovered they were God and then came back down and convinced themselves that it wasn't true. 

I get it, God is powerful and so loving that you cannot imagine that it's you. It makes sense I get it, but the truth is when you discover God...there is nobody else there. It's just YOU. So when you reconstruct your reality again...nothing has changed, it's still just you. Currently I have been making my sober state even deeper and it is being shown to me even more how illusionary the ego is and how we trick ourselves into thinking we are only the individual character. But it's funny, a part of me, the joking mischievous part of me actually speaks up every now and then and beckons me to go back to duality. So I played around a little and was shown...that I could go back to duality if I want. 

So I repeat again, ONLY YOU STOP YOURSELF. Everyone can awaken, even though everyone won't. Awakening is not caused by genetics, awakening is caused by your desire to want to discover the truth so much that you destroy your current version of duality to live in Oneness. This process forces you to face your inner demons, your inner judgment, and to forgive yourself and everyone you ever hated, and to love yourself and life unconditionally. Until you can truly let go of your self-hatred you will NEVER fully awaken. Many of you think loving everything is airy fairy, well God is an omnipotent airy fair that can make shit real. 

You are still in the shit real perspective, why are you afraid to explore the airy fairy? The magical? You think Disney is a mistake? LOL. God is magical!! Stop thinking as the character in the story, and think like a creator. The person who wrote the Lion King doesn't see anything wrong with Scar the Uncle of Simba and the brother of Mufasa. The person who wrote the Lion King killed Mufasa as part of the story. Stop being selfish and realize that your character is part of a larger story and you are just living as this character from its perspective. 

I come here and write these posts because I know I will live life from your perspective and as such I hope I can help myself awaken. Seek truth, if you seek truth long enough, you as God will surprise you. It happened to me, so I know it can happen to you. Oh and the church and religions are distractions, they will only know God as form. Seek to know God as formlessness that is love.

@Vibes Of course it’s painful and you hate living like that. Yet, it’s not the only way that reality is. Suffering can actually be deeply recontextualized, even after the event that you associate with suffering has seemingly long passed.

For example, I recently was able to do this with a childhood traumatic event that happened 20 years ago; I was stuck with a stubbornly fixed version of that story for that long. Yet, when I contemplated deeply (way beyond my comfort zone), my entire framing of that one event was able to change drastically! And this is only one example out of an extraordinarily many!

I didn’t plan to do this at all. It’s as if a power beyond my human/rational mind took over and began revealing what needed to be revealed. But it was not easy by any means… ha! I surely would not have been ready to face this even just a few months ago. It took enormous trust in myself to breakthrough. And nobody else could have done it for me - they can only help point in the right direction.

Intense suffering becomes less intense as time passes and heals itself. But consider a situation like this: you dedicated your life for the nation. You are caught in the enemy hands. You are tortured endlessly. You are given food through a tube, so you can't resist eating and die. You have no choice but to suffer endlessly till you are broken. Does God help him here? An open minded question with no point to prove.

Well ...

1. I don't know how that story ends as you left it open-ended.

2. I've never experienced that particular situation as you constructed it so....not sure what I can say. It depends on how you look at it and how you define "help" since you left it open-ended. He could end up being saved, go through therapy, write a best-selling book about what he went through and have a movie and video games series made about his experience. 

Or he could get therapy, make his life purpose to be a therapist, find the love of his life and get married.

Or he could escape go live in a monastery the rest of his life.....you left it open-ended.

All such cases are possible, but still there are some cases where people are completely broken. They might get back to a better life as time passes but very slowly and it becomes even worse when medical or spiritual help is not available to them.

But still, I have never experienced how their mind feels when they are broken, whether they are sad throughout their life and undergo immense suffering. All I can do is guess.

The only thing I am sure is what I have experienced, and as for as my experience goes, the mind has the capacity to adjust itself to intense suffering, meaning that it is only intense for a short duration, and after sometime the suffering becomes less intense even though the pain is same. As long as that is valid for everyone, suffering is acceptable.

You don’t need to achieve such high feet to know your misery is your own making. Even if you reach those feet of truth , the practical side of unraveling the Gordian knot is a different skill than truth realization. From my exp it is critical to do part and shadow work on the ego. No need to reinvent the wheel. It is nice to reach such high feet but it is an overcompensation if your goal is to stop your self-sabotage for a good life. Most people just want a good life. They are not interested in that deep shit.

I could very well say that one's path of awakening is fueled by karma. Our very lives are karmic in nature because they are created.

What blocks one's karmically enlightening potential is self-reflective pattern consciousness, that is, psychological habit-energy.

Experiencing situationally inherent spiritual potential through ego-consciousness is how to perpetuate delusional existence. Ego-consciousness changes nonoriginated potential into karmic bondage on the spot. Following ego-reifying pattern-consciousness unawares turns enlightening potential reality into the illusionary dualism of self/other.

Refining mind by a long process of subtle observation in the midst of everyday ordinary situations, eventually one arrives at a seamlessly subconscious state of forgetting to see situations relative to ego-consciousness, thus preserving the fundamental reality of selflessness without even needing to think or do anything that could really create illusionary separation through habitual mental conditioning.

Don't think you can fool yourself, if you do not discover God for yourself and you desire to be loving and good you can fall into the trap of religion. Nothing wrong with that because religion is an expression of God but its also full of self-righteousness and judgment.

There was this woman who use to teach Spirituality and she got caught up in the manifestation stuff. She started a website and was doing consultations with clients etc. She was quoting people like Neville Goddard and the Christian Mystic who taught Neville Goddard Abdullah. When I was early in my spiritual journey she popped up in one of Google searches and I read some of her stuff and was cheering her on in her journey.

Tell me how I decided on a whim to check on her and see what she was doing and....well you read it.

Don't say I didn't warn you......you aren't going to awaken unless you want to, and if you don't you will call it self-deception. God hides itself behind self-deception and then call it self-deception that it could have ever been true. Oh well I tried to tell people lies always fall apart but the truth always lasts to the end.

And no I am not saying I am better, I'm saying somewhere in her journey the desire for her to discover the truth of what she is had a price. It's why I call it the moment of truth. You are your OWN AUTHORITY!!! I don't know how many authority figures have to fall before humans realize they need to be their own authority?
