No you didn't, and I can see how my statement to you implied that, but it was meant to be just a generalized statement nit directly implicating that you said that. My apologies.

@Princess Arabia What are you talking about, I love the opposite sex.

@CoolDreamThanks I've known for years that life (and the lovely opposite sex) holds nothing for me, and I get what you're saying about the dualistic universe being zero-sum and empty, although I've never experienced backlash from sexual activity quite so directly as you and others seem to.

Me too, and the same sex.

I was just reading a review of one of Blavatsky's book "the land of the gods" and somebody left key takeaways in the comments. That I thought are relevant to this discussion.

"My takeaways:

• Concentration strengthens the soul.
• Before becoming spiritual, be natural.
• With proper spiritual retreats, you would bring the greatest possible benefit to the world.
The Adepts say, “Give us people who desire nothing but the truth, and we will take care of their needs.”
• The spirit gains strength when it finds nourishment in lower principles and is guided by wisdom to choose what it needs.
• Let those who desire to develop spiritually attempt to think with their hearts, instead of continually studying with their brains.
• Consistently aim to transcend animalistic tendencies, and you'll be among those who've thrown off their animal elements to live a spiritual existence.
• Your will is strongest if you have no will of your own, but remain in all things obedient to the Law. In an unrelated out-of-body experience that happened in 2016, an intelligent voice spoke to a pilot named Jim Bruton, saying: “All the force of will you will ever need is found in the art of letting go.”
Many desire spiritual growth and immortality, but they feel trapped by external circumstances they're afraid to challenge. Instead of focusing on what truly matters, they spend their time and energy on meaningless pursuits. Countless lack the courage to break free from societal norms, even if they disagree with them, fearing social backlash. As a result, they forsake their spiritual potential for the fleeting trends of fashion."

Yes, that's what I mean. He will deny he is doing this because of cognitive dissonance, but he is conflating degrees of consciousness with Truth/God.

@CoolDreamThanks How would you distinguish the level of goodness when everything was only good you can no conception of what good can mean? With the harshness of the world is born goodness. And the goodness will slowly take over.

@Yimpa so true, i am surprised to see how many people are talking about him in a derogatory sort of manner. I thought they would be removed. But Leo is a bigger person than that. We won't really even understand rn where he is at.

Of course, that is what it means to be unenlightened.

Experience turns to memory, memory turns to identity, and the ego nests itself in nice and cozy.

Once the chemicals which forced his brain to perceive reality a certain way wear off, the baseline state has to metabolize the experience in one way or another. And of course the ego is patiently waiting there in the baseline state, waiting to eat up the psychedelic experience.

made me chuckle

going to catch myself into it

@Marten98 neither Bashar, nor Dolares, nor Ram Dass, nor Leo understand the reason behind the creation of the universe and what is happening here now.

There are no souls.

It's absurd to think that you are standing in line to incarnate to suffer.

While we are on the topic of incarnation - the last lifetime is relatively good, I had the most beautiful and loving partner, attractive body, freedom in financial sense, and many other things that the world deems valuable. Yet, I am the first in line to leave this illusion, so your argument regarding suffering doesn't hold.

I am the first in line to leave because I have true wisdom, I know what is happening here.

Maybe someone will read the book I recommended and will open their eyes to the absurdity Leo teaches. Sure God is what Leo says God is, but the universe is not here for the reason he believes.

I am, sadly, unable to open the eyes of people either here or on other platforms, as they think they know already.

Anyway, started to feel the first flavours of bliss, that's why I haven't visited this forum in days and won't be doing so in the future.

Buckle up, I plan to end this shabang in a year or a few, so do what you want in that time, since when I awaken, the universe will dissapear. :P

Lmao, well sorry it feel like a movie I've already seen a thousand time.

@Salvijus that was very relevant and valuable. Besides the parts you bolded, I also enjoyed the encouragement to rise above animalistic instincts. Thank you for sharing. 🙏

@Mileyofpink Saying that you need contrast to experience goodness is like saying that you first have to get shot in the gut to enjoy sex. It's just not true. It's Leo's ideaology to which you subscribed without really contemplating things for yourself. It's fine. Leo's teachings are a good stepping stone along the way.

Wishing you all the best and hope you will be able to rise above Leo's teachings soon. Check out David Hoffmeister on YT and read Gary Renards books to get started.

@Yimpa I think Patrick is enlightened.. The flow of wisdom from him is unparalleled.

@CoolDreamThanks In the end, it is all meaningless... doesn't matter who is right

Award for the most incorrect idea ever goes to.. drum roll please.... you!

Here's your trophy🏆

Not trying to be mean. Just realize that this belief of everything being meaningless is very toxic. It causes depression. It's like a parasite in your mind.

While the dream is indeed meaningless, waking up is infinitely meaningful.

Nihilism is a form of depression in my eyes. I've been there. You admitted struggling with nihilism already.

@Mileyofpink seems like you are simply here to kill time and be mean

Interesting that you've tagged yourself here, even though it was meant to be me. Yet it does seem like you are here just to waste time, since everything is meaningless anyway and from what I've seen on your posts you ask for advice but don't really care about what people say. Projection, I guess.

Anyway, gl hf.

Human life has complete meaning, it is a path of evolution, like any other life. the cosmos in motion. cycles within cycles in a perfect dance.
