If god is limitless why is it alone?

39 posts in this topic

If god infinite it cannot be alone cause that’s a limit. True infinity is limitless the mom you say it cannot do something it is not true infinity. How is god alone, it has to be with other different infinities and not be alone.

Because everything comes from God's mind, thus imagination, thus non - existent. God cannot ever create something,or especially someone who's real, exactly because he does not need it (rather that he can't).

It’s not alone, it’s just completely sovereign to every other infinity. There can never be 2 sets of infinity coexisting. They would instantly merge collapsing all notion of “other”.

Why does it have to be alone in it real form if it’s limitless?

Because there's no one like God. No other consciousness except for God's own.

If it wasn't alone it wouldn't have unlimited power and therefore could not create itself.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Because whenever God stumbles about something other, it turns out it's just another part of Itself. That's the meaning of being limitless.

@Girzo the meaning of being limitless is meaning is it can do anything so it could be not alone. If something is other is that other a completely different thing even though it is contained in it. Like the number infinity with the number 1 in it is it’s own number and is different.

Did you get this understanding from the Infinity of Gods video? Sounds like the same explanation.

@Leo Gura you could still have unlimited power and have other eternal beings. Why can’t you?

Where would those others exist? Only in your Mind.

God is not subject to the label of alone.

'Aloneness' is a concept within the system of God. You can't apply aloneness to God because God creates aloneness.

Aloneness is a label meant for finite things - it doesn't work when you apply it to God because using the word alone has forced you to assume there is other. Which in the context of God, there is no other.

It is the Pythagorean monad. God is the substance and matter of the universe. In Hinduism Brahma blew himself up in the Big Bang and created the universe. So if you did have multiple gods running around, they are made out of the monad or highest god who is alone. It is like Zeus being the patriarchal most powerful god. Or maybe Khaos.

God is alone because he is limitless.

And he has created everything else because of that, too. You as human are God having the experience of relationships with others.

The Secret of this Universe is You.

God is infinitely alone and he is infinitely nothing but also infinitely not alone and something.

if there were multiple gods, they would be unstable or the universe would be unstable or their relationships would be unstable. So there is one god for our realm and everything is stable.... but also infinitely unstable. ;/

Yup!

God is not alone, and God is not not alone. God just IS.

Which is why Solipsism is bogus.;)

So you're saying Solipsism is and isn't true.
