You need direct experience first. The explanations will become less confusing then.

It can sometimes be the other way around, but you won’t derive the answers from said explanations from your then perspective. 

Hence why it’s called expanding your consciousness. If you are in a tiny circle trying to figure out the bigger circle, you’re just gonna spin around in your own little circle forever stuck and confused
