That's an interesting question. Contemplate that for yourself. "Could it be that children with cancer are part of perfection? How could that be?"

Some thoughts I can gather on the spot: Consciousness wants to experience EVERYTHING, even the very darkest possibilities. The experience of every human being is sacred. Isn't the live of a child with cancer also sacred? Doesn't it lead to us coming together and finding a cure for it, caring for it? Doesn't it lead us to give as much love as we can to those children, trying to make their life as tolerable as possible. A child with cancer leads to a lot of love that is conveyed.

What about the child itself? It may lead to a lot of love, okay, but the child still suffers immensely, doesn't it? What about him?

Every human on this planet experiences pain in their life to varying degrees – also pain they can do nothing about. Would you say that that is a fault of existence? The child with cancer is only an extreme example of that. Is it possible that you could be at peace with your pain?

I myself made very painful experiences, sometimes lasting for weeks. Pain so intense that it didn't let me think about anything else. I am grateful for that experience, even when it was extremely unpleasant. I learned to adhere more to my needs, it made me strong. Pain so intense really brings you to question life and existence. Without that I wouldn't have gotten so deep. It gives my life an enormous depth that wouldn't be there if I had been always happy and content. I am grateful for that experience. It showed me that existence is so perfect, Love is so beautiful, that even that amount of pain is not able to tarnish it.

Those are just some thoughts I came up with on the spot...

@vibv Why would consciousness want to experience everything, instead of only the good? You offer others to contemplate, but you should take that advice instead.

@CoolDreamThanks I am the only one who contemplated ANYTHING here. You're just parrotting the same sentence over and over "buullshit, buuulshit". Do you even listen to yourself? jeez

I've had enough of you.

I think that reality is an infinite well that moves cyclically. As you have said, its essence is what we could call love, joy of existing, glory. This infinite well is a horizon of possibilities, everything is possible but any structure that appears must be coherent, perfectly balanced. Reality is intelligence in evolution, the experience that is taking place now and which you call "i" is of unimaginable complexity. the experience of two protons bonding is, and so on until reaching a human brain. Everything must be perfect, balanced, the ying and yang extracted from the infinite must link together and dance in perfect harmony. There cannot be a universe of happy pink unicorns, it would collapse. For cosmic stability to occur, the entire puzzle must fit together perfectly, and for it to do so, one piece of the puzzle must be the child with cancer, the Nazi holocaust and all that. The evolution towards greater complexity, towards completing the perfect cycle, demands it.

I've had enough of you.

They are Holykael #3 every now and then we get new users who enter to tell you that what you post is wrong and that life is terrible. It is what it is.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.
