What's up with DeJa'Vu ?

What is your experience of DeJa'Vu?

For me it feels like reality becomes a movie that I've seen before, but I can't place where and when I saw it the first time.

@Osaid You have a valid point. Daja vu does have a dreamy quality to it. But I still wonder if something doesn't spill over into dreams.

Whatever it is, I think it's certainly a memory of you "experiencing" the future. You have some recollection of the experience happening before. So, somehow, you perceived what was going to happen in the future at some point in the past.

A key thing to realize is that it is not a memory of you simply trying to predict the future. It is a memory of you EXPERIENCING it. The only way I can think of this occurring is either through dreams or some alternate past life or dimension or something. The dream scenario is much more likely.

As I said previously, one day I had a dream which predicted like 4 of the things that I did that day. And that's the only reason I could even come to this conclusion. My initial conception when it happened was "Oh, this feels like Deja Vu", but then when I inspected it closer it came to me "Wait a minute, this is what I experienced myself doing in the dream today, that's why it feels familiar." So I am very adamant about this theory.

@Osaid Aha, that’s pretty neat. Not only did you link replies that you made about Deja vu from 3 years ago, but you also reiterated one of the replies on this thread (without linking it this time). That must have also brought back memories!

Yeah amazing

I'll make sure to link this thread next time in the future when someone else asks

Interesting firsthand experience well worth noting. But somehow, I intuit there is something more to it .

Pre destined check points that you return to. God is so intelligent its already left check points it knows it wants to return too before they even happen. When you have one its god coming into a checkpoint before it comes into it. Like you experience deja vu in an area then 50 years later die then want to respawn to that spot and you experience the deja vu again.

I just had a vivid dream last night where I was talking to my dad over the phone and having the same conversation I had with him two weeks ago, albeit in a different location.

The mind is so fucking creative!

Everything that could happen, has already happened. How do we know? Because reality is infinite, as such every possibility that could ever exist...exists. One of those possibilities is everything has already happened. As such deja vu, is just a reminder...you've done this before.

Also....nothing ever happened as well...there is that also.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

Or perhaps everything is already written. And daja vu is a sort of peeking at the blueprints of what's to come.

Your definition is quite on the mark.

The life we are living now has been created a long time ago, we are just reviewing mentally what has already happened, so when you get A Dejavu, you simply remember that you already saw this part of the movie before. A movie as a metaphor breaks down since it does not account for free will, as when we watch movies we do not have a say in them, so perhaps using a metaphor of a virtual reality video game would be even more precise.

It is just your brain playing tricks on you, just like when you imagine you heard someone calling your name when there is nobody there. No need to overthink such stuff.

Both of us will be consumed.

My blood and your blood, my suffering and yours is the essence that nourishes the tree of existence.'"

Hello, I agree with the dream comments mentioned.

I have had  full psychic dreams and then lived the dream in real time. Have lost count how many times that has happened. It does make me smile when I clock it.

so I think déjàvu is connected to the dream state/consciousness, but it could also be a past life type memory also.

I've had 2 lsd sessions.

In first session i watch a live youtube video playing music, all the comments are the same. And the last comment says : Lies.

In second session 4 months later i stumbled on the same live video, all the comments were the same again and the last comment says : Lies.

It's like i was in another specific closed dimension still in my room, so dejavu is just an event that already happend but you just noticed it. In the presence and closed dimension there is basically no time and nothing to do and you're in some form of consciousness idle mode stuck with yourself.
