Roger Penrose and William Lane Craig Interview

Great interview. @Leo Gura correctly pointed out how dense and paradigm locked Penrose is and what a good job Craig did in explaining the universal mind paradigm. 

But if Craig is so smart how can he be a Christian? A Christian doesn't just think Jesus is a good teacher (Like Leo, Osho or Sadguru is) Christians think Jesus actually rose from the dead 2000 years ago and preformed magic tricks. This belief is based on a few 2000 year old "eye witnesses" that were recorded hundreds of years after Jesus's death. Also Christians believe that without Jesus you "can't be saved" whatever that means. They don't even mean "without Jesus's teachings you can't be saved" somehow Christians delude themselves into endeavoring to accept Jesus "into their heart". What nonsense!!! 

To me that is a far more of a dense paradigm lock.

Any thoughts?

He's not smart about the Christianity part.

Just because Roger Penrose is wrong doesn't mean Christians are right.

The only thing that Christians are right about, pretty much, is that God exists. The rest is their human BS.

True Christians don't believe that. True Christians are Mystics who understand that Jesus was saying that everyone is the Son of God. Jesus quoted "Jesus replied, “Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said you are gods’d? 35If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken— 36then what about the One whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world? How then can you accuse Me of blasphemy for stating that I am the Son of God?

The key part is the if he called them gods to whom the word of God came. Jesus was pointing to the fact that the word of God, is one with God. Jesus plenty of times said his authority came from the father. When Jesus does this he is pointing to the Absolute. Jesus also said the word sanctified.

John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is the truth

So what is Jesus saying? Jesus is saying he is the Son of God because he knows the truth. That his authority comes from the TRUTH. If you study Jesus the core of his teaching is that he is the Son of God because he is the word made Flesh. Jesus states he has not come to destroy the law of Moses but to fulfill it.

Now the Law of Moses was retributive. It followed the eye for an eye standard. Jesus mentioned that it was created because the Israelites were too selfish.

 

Jesus was asked this very question by a Pharisee who was considered to be “an expert in the law” (Matthew 22:34–36). Jesus answered by saying, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments”

Jesus mentions that Moses law was given to the Israelites because of the hardness of their hearts, which means they were too selfish at the time to receive a message of like the one he is presenting.  “Because of your hardness of heart, Moses allowed you to divorce your wives” (Matthew 19:8)

So Jesus is basically saying to love God is to love one another equal to the love you have for yourself. This is the message of Self-Love. 

But watch this...“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Matthew 7: 3-5

So Jesus is saying observe yourself, and clear your vision, before you look upon another and attempt to clear their vision. This means to work on your Self-Bias, your judgment.  Matthew 6:22-23 "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!"

This means your eye should not see division, but see unity. This is the direct path. Jesus speaks to work to purify your vision which will purify your vessel. When he says vision he means your perspective. To seek to remove all Self-Bias, which will allow you to love and appreciate all things like God. Once you understand and embody this message then you are the Christ, the chosen son, daughter of God and thus are the physical embodiment of God, the word made Flesh.

THESE were Jesus's teachings, and it got completely corrupted. ONLY TRUE CHRISTIANS RECEIVE THIS MESSAGE!!! The rest are pretenders!!!
