Poles stick it up to Ukraine

10 posts in this topic

@StarStruck after they war-mongered and tried to escalate non-stop, they are now abandoning the sinking boat. Pathetic.

The boat was always going to sink, Ukraine never had a chance but these propagandists never cared. They were the first ones to cheerlead the US coup in 2014 and to throw fuel on the fire of Russophobia.

@Tobia @StarStruck

1. This is a response to the grain conflict and the retarded things Ukriainian officials said, not the war in general.

2. Another part of it is PIS just being desperate for votes in October elections.

But who needs the context, right? It's better to just link a random twitter post and call the thread "Poles stick it up to Ukraine".

Another stage yellow political analysis ;)

@Something Funny after the counter offensive failed, the mood in Poland changed and public opinion is shifting.

Poland has been flooded by Ukrainian refugees and many poles have had enough of the lies

It is not just about grain. Ukraine is, predictably, losing the war.

Yeah, I am sure that you, living in Italy, know more about the moods in Poland than me, a Ukrainian living in Poland right now.

Please educate me more on the public opinion here.

And yes, it is about the grain. This conflict has been boiling for a few years now and has finally blown up, given the final push by how poorly and stupidly Ukraine handles its diplomacy and PIS wanting to use the scandal to get extra votes.

They wouldn't do that if public opinion was not shifting away from unconditional support for Ukraine.

They supported every escalation possible and now that Ukraine is being hopelessly destroyed, Poland is cowardly finding excuses to get away from the "drowning man"

Where did you get this information from, lol?

There was never unconditional support for Ukraine. From day one there were conflicts regarding refugees, conflicts between politicians on both sides, conflicts among common people, people politicians supporting Russia, etc.

This is nothing new and is natural in every situation like this in the world.

Find me an example of a political decision in any country that was met with 100% unconditional support by everyone.

On top of that, in my opinion, they do that to get the support of farmers. A very vocal group who even before the official grain ban were going out and blocking trucks with Ukrainian grain.

You clearly have your own story that you have already decided on, so you want to see everything from the perspective that validates it. No matter whether it is actually true.

Generally you are right, just you took this out of context. Check out my thread and meet the person that explains why and how this war will end disastrously for those involved:
