What's the key to achieving my dreams ?

My dad used to tell me when I was a kid that if you work hard and struggle when you are young..you get to live a comfortable and luxurious life when you're older . And vice versa ..if you be lazy and piss away your youth years and not being productive you get to struggle when you're old . And he of course suggested to me to take the first route.  And I'm convinced that this Is right . To study hard in school and get high grades that's gonna allow me to go to a high standard field in universities like engineering or computer science etc (I currently study business and marketing in University).

So my question is what is the key to success in all aspects of my life ? If I have a lot of dreams that seem too difficult or even impossible to achieve...how can I reprogram my mind and bust those limiting beliefs?

I want to live the best life possible. Achieving every item in Maslow's hierarchy of needs . I want to get the fuck out of India and live in a western country..I want to have sex with the hottest girls in the world..I want to have so much money that allows me to travel whenever I want etc . So much  exotic experiences that I want to experience before my time runs out on this planet.

So..whats the key to achieve this  ?

Thanks ?

What's the point of asking for more advice then?

You're not going to do anything with it anyways until you fix this.

People look for help when they're stuck, it's better to try to find the root cause and go from there. 'Just do it' has its place but it's not fully applicable

I am in love with you, my friend. I am probably the oldest active (regular) member on this forum, yet I only have 700 or so posts. I would not comment if I didn’t see something truly beautiful and amazing in you that has sparked my interest. You have so much potential, and I really wish you would see it too. I know I can act like a smart-ass. I am only showing affection. I see you as a brother and as brother’s we can get on each other’s nerves. I do truly care about you despite my obnoxious behavior.

Understanding karma can help solve problems. Karma means work/actions+results. Karma also includes the effect of any an all human actions. I do not say basic Karma as an offence, but as a path to make your life the way you wish it to be. A method to use Karma in a practical way… a tool. Let me put it in another way. Success is the sum of all validated improvements. You measure your improvements through your actions.

You build your mind by validating the improvements you make, dozens or hundreds of times every day. You do this by loving and admiring whatever improvements you make every single moment. You must improve your certainty that you know that what you did was correct and was an improvement. You see the perfection, the beauty in your actions and things that you perceive. This is how you build your mind.  All the beauty that you have is the beauty that you decide to create.

Only with a strong mindset can you turn your dreams into a reality. Then, you can put joy into your actions and/or have hope or faith in the grind and work that you are doing.

And yes, I am in love with @Princess Arabia    She is a sister to me. I have a special attachment to her because she reminds me of a daughter (and looks like her) I had a few centuries ago, named Cedella. Which means princess, I believe… I forget. But yes, she is very special to me. I like to tease and joke around with her because she is dear to my heart and I really admire her humor and way of thinking. You may think me a fool and delusional with this, and I am happy if you do so… I am who I am and that’s all I am.

@Razard86

You are a Nothingness. You can not resist.

However… You can put something to resist or something that resists.

What resists are thoughts (or manifestations of the mind) that you don’t know or a lack of (love+admiration). These are impurities because to experience something to have an effect or be an effect, you must hold on to the illusion. You must resist and not know that you are putting it there. This is the essence of assuming a viewpoint which results in the consideration of existence/nonexistence duality.  I know that is exactly what you are saying in your post and GOD DAMN ...It is music to my ears! I love it so much. Thank you for that. You never cease to impress me. LOVE!!!

You have a talent for writing, such clear concise writing. I sense a poetic spirit in you too.

But to add more to the original discussion.

Authenticity I already mentioned.

The next is consistency. To be authentic is to be true to what you are which you only know through Self-Knowledge. As you gain in knowledge of yourself your Self-Love will grow. Through this process you will discover what love is. Life creates obstacles, to see if you can make an investment. Through a prolonged investment you discover unconditional love. What is unconditional love? To stick with something no matter how conditions change. If you pay attention this has been the theme of your whole life. What do you think survival is?

Survival is your desire to stick with living...and avoid death by protecting your identity at all costs. This is why all attachment is an expression of unconditional love. So...this is why you cannot force yourself to do anything....it has to be a natural flow towards something. For example...you love coming on these forums. Nobody forces you to come here, you naturally come of your own free will.

It is why when you said you were leaving....I told you that you would not leave. How did I know? Because I know myself and you are me. You are here for community, you are here for self-expression and self-exploration. You recognize the value of the community here and realize it's rarity. As such whether you realize it or not you have developed an attachment for the users here.

So the more you understand Love...the more you can understand yourself and achieve your dreams. Because reality is itself a dream....that continually teaches unconditional love. Love that is true, is unwavering, so truth and love are one and the same. The truth never changes, and neither does love, even when they attempt to hide themselves....from themselves....they are always one and the same. Learn your inner romantic nature and success will be easy.

You can learn your inner romance by taking notice of what type of characteristics inspires you and seek to emulate them. Can you fall in love with your character? If you invest in it enough....you will. The most attractive trait you will find within yourself...is consistency in relation to something. The more you Master...the more you will admire yourself.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

I don't know what to do..and not knowing what to do just make me feel like doing nothing then that stresses me and to stop that stress i do unproductive stuff that build more stress and so on. You feel me ?

tell me what I could do? Do I need a special schedule? Psychology test? Or what ?

I feel you and I've been there. It's nothing I want to shame you for.

I'm just making the point that you're asking the wrong question / focusing on the wrong thing.

If you had started taking action a year ago, even if you didn't know what to do and it was the wrong action, you'd still be in a better position than now. Having learnt things. Actually learnt things. You don't learn anything from advice you don't actually try out. You don't even remember it, as has been demonstrated.

I call BS on that you don't know what to do.

In a past thread I've literally told you how you could start a business. Specific to your situation, being in university studying philosophy. Described all the steps to you.

Now I could go search and find that thread for you but I won't. You can do that. Let's see if you're able to break through laziness ;)

How can you tell me that you don't know what to do?

It's simply not true.

You just have to do it.

Also, if you want serious advice, you should always back it up with describing what action you've already taken. And then ask what the next step is.

No one who has any business experience wants to waste their time giving advice to someone who doesn't take action. It's going straight in the bin anyways and you know they'll go back to watching porn and asking the same question over and over again.

And also: those people are for the most part not here. You'll get idiot business advice here. Go to thefastlaneforum.com.

And if you need accountability: get a mentor or good 1 on 1 coaching.

I paid someone 2k a month for 6 months to help me kickstart my business project once.

Do you think I'm going to be lazy and procrastinate if I'm bleeding 2000 euros a month?

No sir.

Learnt a lot and at a fast pace, too.

I know how to get people unstuck when they're stuck.

You have to find the root of the problem.

Do a shadow work routine, see where it comes from, process it.

I do this for a living.

The reason I didn't recommend that, is that it doesn't matter if he doesn't do things.

He's also not going to do the psychological work, unless he decides first to become a person who actually does things.

Law of attraction is not how reality works. It is a feel good idea sold to people who don't like to put in actual work.

The general process to actually achieve your material goals is as follows. Get very clear on exactly what it is that you want, do the research to figure out how to achieve it (a great deal of discernment is required given how much false information is out there), go through the process of trial and error testing things out and observe what actually works and does not work for you, take consistent action over a long period of time working towards your goals, and continuously adjust your approach based off new information and feedback from reality.

The law of attraction is like the prerequisite that you need to understand and embody prior to taking action. If I were to have negative thoughts (pessimism, anger, helplessness) about a situation that I am in then I will be discouraged from taking action, if I can have positive thoughts about a situation (hopefulness, optimism, positive expectations) then this will spur me into taking more action.

I agree that you're recommendation to achieving success will work, but I think you should give the law of attraction some more attention.

The universe will also find ways of helping you out if you set your intention on something, life isn't as mechanical as you think. Remember, life is like an infinite mind, everything is connected.

Negative emotions can actually be very powerful motivators, many people achieve their goals this way, for example the fear of poverty can drive someone to start a well paying career. Though I wouldn't recommend using negative motivation too often since it can lower your level of happiness and lead to neuroses.

Positive emotions can help to motivate you to action. This isn't the law of attraction though. Law of attraction is the belief that merely visualising what you want enough times will make it manifest in reality.

The best motivator is to get in touch with what it is you truely want and then create a powerful vision of what you want to create with your life. You then need to put in the work and remain humble to feedback from reality and adjust accordingly.

I've given it a great deal of attention, I've spent years sincerely testing it. It just didn't work.

I agree, though I find in my own experience that these sorts of synchronous events or help from the divine happen when you're sincere in your desires and taking the best action you know of to create the life you want to create, when you're out there truely engaging with life. Sitting at home doing visualisations or affirmations can lead to years of your life wasted, which is why these ideas are so dangerous. You've been put on Earth to engage with the process of life.

Taking the most right action (based on the best information/experience/intuition you have available) demonstrates to God that you are sincere in your desire. This is when help or guidance will come.

Did I say that life was mechanical? I don't believe this.

This doesn't mean the law of attraction needs to be true.

The issue is the people use the law of attraction as an excuse not to take action, they are running away from having to actually put in the work to creative the life they want. The people teaching it usually don't describe it as a motivator towards action, rather that visualising enough times is sufficient to manifest what you want. This simply isn't how reality works.

@Pav thanks for taking the time to write so much, I enjoyed hearing your perspective and you make some very good points.

For me personally, I do still find use in the law of attraction, mainly in the sense that if I continually think "it sucks that i don't have a girlfriend" then I will continuously attract not having a girlfriend because I am focusing on that. If I can flip this pessimistic thought into an optimistic one like "I attract beautiful women into my life" whether through visualizations or affirmations, then my mind will find ways of making this a reality. That is what I get out of the law of attraction, focus on positivity and you will attract positivity, focus on negativity and you will attract negativity.

Bottom line is that this works for me and it doesn't work for you. Nothing wrong with that, we are all different.

The Key To Achieve Your Dreams:

1. Quit Smoking

(No ifs and buts, if you are serious about your dreams this is a must. I can't tell you how much better I am physically, mentally, emotionally after quitting. And it's easy and fun if you use the right method)

2. Have a hierarchy of goals which increases in difficulty level just as in a game. Start accomplishing those goals. Put everything you have got in achieving those goals.

3. Calculate the value of your productive hour rate. Meaning how much is your 1 hour worth when you are working? Calculate this by dividing how much you want to make monthly/yearly for your desired life and then doing the math for one productive hour. Notice productive hour is your peak performance hours. Which are only 3-4 hours normally within a given day. Paste this somewhere you can see often.

Through this you can discern if the activities that you are doing are worth your time or not. For example I will be starting my work in an hour and will keep the phone on silent. Even though posting here and giving answers is a high value activity for me, I still choose to do it in my free time.

4. Take psychedelics with the intention of getting clarity about your ideal life and your rough plan to get there.

Also may I ask you how are you planning to shift to a western country? Also why do you want to leave India?

There are two reasons I asked these questions:

1. India is such a wonderful country 😍

2. It will be easy for you to do business in India as compared to some other country as you already have networks here. You understand the problems of people here. Pick 1 problem. Solve it. And sell the solution.

Okay buddy, good luck. I know you will figure it out.

A key to achieving your dreams is to accept your past as a necessary building block to get to where you are right now. Trying to move forward while still clinging onto your past in a narrow way is bound to keep you stuck.

The trick is to even become aware that you’re doing this to begin with. Most are not aware of how their past is dictating their present actions, and therefore their future.

I AM itching for the truth
