What Are The Dangers Of High Dose Psilocybin?

5 posts in this topic

The lethal dose is supposedly 37 pounds:

http://hallucinogens.com/psilocybin/

What stops someone from being kept is a physically safe environment and taking say, 100 grams? Would there be irreversible psychological consequences?

NOTE: I AM NOT ADVOCATING TRYING IT OUT OR PLANNING ON IT!!! Just asking.

There are very few resources on people taking more than 30grams(dry) mushrooms.

Probably noone really knows an answer to this since it also depends on the one taking it. Also "irreversible psychological consequence" is very relative. You probably mean a clinical mental illness or something by that but literally everything you do and experience has an "irreversible psychological consequence" on your mind.

Research "Kilindi Iyi" if you're interested in high dose magic mushrooms.

@Ape Yeah, by "irreversible psychological consequence", I meant irreversible trauma or something like that.

I've seen Kilindi Iyi's stuff. Apparently he's done up to 40g now.

Mushrooms have more compounds other than Psilocybin, and large amounts can take a toll on the liver.
