@StarStruck Leo is lucky with his 'fame'. He's not too big, he's not a celebrity, nobody really knows who he is in real life. He can dip his toes in to pickup as he lives in Las Vegas, and come out unscathed.

It's the Intention. Shame will only exist if the person doing the pick-up feels shameful in their intention. Whatever that intention is.

omg this gives me chills. This line was the ending scene of real-life inspired movie where a woman framed a bollywood actor in a false rape case and got him convicted. The last scene was she telling her lawyer, also a woman, that what the actor did was not rape, but something much worse than rape. She felt totally justified in her mind that justice was served.

I find it crazy how the age of consent is all over the place.

Many of these states that set it at 16 make it unrestricted. That means one is deemed able to consent to having sex with anyone else at or above the age of consent. (See “Summary” section in the Wikipedia).

I think a good compromise would be to set an age of consent federal law to 17.

I say 17 because the DSM-5 requires that a person must be at least 16 years old, and at least five years for the attraction to be diagnosed as pedophilic disorder.

Did you learn a lesson after that experience? In my experience pick-up lines, let alone edgy pick-up lines are unnecessary. Also, you told her that she is perfect which is probably untrue and giving all your cards away.
