How Many Affirmations?

2 posts in this topic

I watched the video about Affirmations and it seems like something I want to try out. However there are a lot of things you want in life, so I could imagine you could have very very many affirmations you would want to repeat to yourself. Now my question is how many affirmations you should use at any one time?

Is it better to just repeat one for 5 mins , like "I am a millionare", or can you use three different ones, like "I am a millionare", then "I am confident", and finally "I am healthy", and then repeat them over and over. Also if you would do the "I am a millionare" for months and months and then switch over to something different, would your mind "lose" the affirmation over time?

Yes, you can mix it up and they will be still effective, just dont mix too many unrelated things , its best done with similar topics.

For eg: Nutrition, losing weight, having great body, eating healthy, feeling confident with it, ect. They all can fit in one same affirmation that is one or two sentences long. I have few different ''affirmation clusters'' that I use during the day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening.

Tip: I also made audio files from them, in my own language and than mixed them with meditation music and appropriate binaural beats.  Great way to use affirmations :D
