This is why spiritual channels usually emphasize that channeling is not something "unusual". Every true artist does it (which is why I've never been a big fan, for example, of filmmakers like Nolan or Hitchcock... all of their movies are just so goddamn planned.)

Back in the days when I used to work as a musical arranger, I often felt kind of like a string puppet while working on a piece of music... it was almost like some invisible power took over after a certain point and assumed control of my hands. And when I wrote a script for a ten minute short film, the dialogue that I was writing down made me laugh as if I was overhearing the banter of two funny guys sitting across from me at a bar! It's an uncanny but very cool experience.

Anyway, the truly funny thing about this excerpt is how the author performs the classic scientific stunt of concocting an elaborate rationalist explanation for something that lies beyond all rationality. Those PhD types just cannot help themselves, can they?

Wow...mind sharing some of your music with us? Would be an honor to hear some of it. And yeah...they just can't help themselves. But there lies a secret realization within this story...I just don't know if I want to say it as it can leave a nasty taste in some people's mouths.

I feel flattered, but I'm afraid that I didn't keep any of my old sound files... one of the reasons why I quit the job after a couple of years was because I got incredibly fed up with the sound of the digital plug-ins that I was using and frankly couldn't listen to it anymore without wanting to puke, lol.

Let's just say some Realizations...hurt like hell. Existential Crises are no joke. I could say something about this thread....that could cause an Awakening (you never know) and put someone through a downward spiral. I know sometimes I confuse people on here but genuinely from my heart I truly wish the best for all on here. I don't wish harm on anyone here and through my direct experience I have seen how brutal this Spiritual Process is.

If you are referring to the fact that the people that we interact with in our day to day lives are no more and no less real & autonomous than the fictional characters in a writer's story, then sure... there is no fundamental difference between "your" imagination and "God's" imagination. The problems start when you say that it's just imagination. The so-called imaginary stuff that makes up existence is as real as a goddamn heart attack... in fact, there is no such thing as "more real than" or "less real than". Real is real, period.

Ironically, the statement that reality is imaginary is deeply rooted in materialism... it presupposes and emphasizes a difference between "imaginary" and material reality, when such a difference does in fact not exist. So, as helpul as such terms can be when used as tools for dispelling your arbitrary conceptual beliefs about reality, they can also be extremely misleading when you attach too much meaning and importance to them.

You are gonna have to explain that one. Because materialists do not believe reality is imaginary. If you are talking about the New Age Spiritual people who enter Spirituality for financial purposes I hear you, but that is because majority of them do not realize it is imaginary.

You are right that imagination and real are the same, but saying it's just imagination is not a cop out. IT LITERALLY IS JUST IMAGINARY. This isn't a joke, or cop out. Literally when you close your eyes and think of an apple, that apple is equivalent to what you call a real apple. There really is not a material reality at all. It's literally just dream stuff. It's just when you are really convinced in Materialism that becomes real for you.

It's why I say if a person believes in a physical, material reality, then that is true for them. But that's like saying that since to Harry Potter from his perspective his world is a physical world that is full of magic is more true than the fact that his entire world is a dream world created by J.K. Rowling.

Which is actually MORE true? Harry's perspective....or J.K. Rowling? It's up to you to decide that one. From my POV, Harry's world being completely imaginary is more true than his belief of his life being a physical 3 D world of magic. Why? Because the most consistent truth is that his world is imaginary. No matter what happens his world being imaginary holds true even if Harry isn't aware of it.

Well the exact same relationship Harry has to his world, is the exact same relationship we currently have with this one. There is literally no difference, I'm not even joking I am literal as all hell.
