How's China have been able to put Iran and Saudi Arabia at peace?

8 posts in this topic

How could it be that China has been able to make Iran and Saudi Arabia to normalize their relationship putting them at peace with each other?
Whereas the US and the alies not only haven't been able to, but they had actively made the two countries would quarrel with each other.

Who's the one or ones then who want blood and chaos benefiting from it, and who does a peace? In this situation.
Shouldn't the  democratic, advanced, more consecious and more loving US and West have behaved in the opposite manner?

Diplomacy, rather than bombing, has the surprising effect of making people talk, rather than fight.

I would be skeptical of this, the entire article basically just talks about the self-reported success of the chinese diploment, who are notorious for their lies.

I would wait a few months and see if any of this actually leads to anything.

Saudi Arabia will not be able to rely on China for it's security concerns, because China does not have that type of competence. The Saudi regime is currently facing existential threats to it's power.

As if that article was the only source of information.

Says who? What's the proof of it?

For why China would not be able to protect Saudi Arabia? Because China has absolutely zero military experience, and the few incidents that have occured over the past two decades were absolute embarassments and failures. The scale of operation required to protect Saudi Arabia from the numerous threats requires enormous military power and sophistication, which we have no reason to assume China has. That's why Saudi Arabia is so hesitant to actually commit to China's proposals.

I'm not going to spoon fed you all the information. Just read up on the geopolitical situation of Saudi Arabia and on chinese military capabilities. Saudi Arabia basically has to hope that it can create new allies and change the geopolitical landscape by weaseling out of the current status-quo.

If "experience" alone, of lack thereof, mattered this much, the US woud've already conquered China and with ease. Why hasn't it? China is its main rival, and, you claim, is weak. Why hasn't it? Because it's unable. US isn't even able to get North Korea which is hundreds of times weaker and smaller than China.

US has an experience, but it also has plenty of embrassing one such as in Afganistán and Vietnam where US lost.

So, how's the "experience" of US supposed to protect Saudi Arabia?

Who "we"? Are you talking to the voices in your head? :D

Saudi Arabia is even more hesitant to continue to commit to the US' even though they've been allies for decades.
