I suspect he’s lying. His story sounds hard to believe, such as moving in with the guy poisoning him after firing him, letting him take over his entire treatment and his daughter declaring love to him. He says the housekeeper refused to drive him to a hospital so he has to drive himself, so why not use Uber? He says he paid for the housekeepers daughter to go the same therapist as him but she didn’t know it was a conflict of interest, how would she not know that if he’s paying? then he plugs alternate healing courses at the end. Also the guy doesn’t get in any legal trouble and he doesn’t at least leak his name.

Perhaps he's omitted a few details here and there. Not?

Regarding the Uber - I also thought that. I don't know. Perhaps in a rich neighbourhood there's no need for it - everyone has a car.

 

Suppose he's lying. For what? What would be in it for him?
How would he memorize all this story, in detail, to be able to talk during 4 hours straight without  stopping at all?

Have you listen to the whole story during all the 4 hours, though? Personally I trust this story. And I'd watched Dan's channel before this.

let's say he was paid to advertise that course against the mercurium in a sneaky manner. He created this story.

He'd have had to remember all the details of the story to be able to talk for 4 hours.

Why not make it 1-2 hour instead of 4?

How many people of the target audience - people poisoned by mercury and who was aware about it - could potentially watch the video? It's not a common illness, the target audience is small to make all of this effort viable.

And the video isn't  titled "how I got recovered from mercury poisoning"  -- the target audience, already small,  would've had  even a smaller chance of finding this video by search.

And it's revealed at the end of the 4-hour video. But people nowadays can't watch something longer than 10 minutes.
Yet  smaller chance of finding out about that course.

^^^ This for sure. If it was really just for a sponsor, the vid would have been more clickbaity and no more than 20 minutes long

He would need a Uber because he wasn’t in a condition to drive, which is why he asked the house keeper.

Hes lying because he is using this to get attention towards the course he plugged which he gets a cut from. 

He did stop during the podcast multiple times, you can see cuts.

I mean why didn’t he leak his full name and face, not just a first name no one can verify.

It isn’t just about mercury poisoning, he talks constantly about how he believed common mental health issues are actually caused by any number of biological things like diet or parasites etc. and the course isn’t just about mercury poisoning.
 

While most people don’t watch videos past 10 minutes, for people you are selling too it is normal to have them watch longer videos to hook them in. 
 

The hardest to believe part is moving in with his housekeeper after he already fired him for being annoying. I know he didn’t suspect him at that point but why move in with this random weird guy and let him take over your medical care, why would your friends and family allow that? Why not move in with one of them?

What if I was hired by Dan to spread this story here thus promoting his persona? And his course.
What if I am Dan himself?

What if I'm the lady who cured him and whose name he mentioned in his video? She sells a course.

What if I'm Leo (one of this accounts) who's decided to revive this part of the forum? There's not been much of activity here.
What if I'm Leo (one of this accounts) who's decided to make a reference about fatal danger of mercury such that more people would watch Leo's video about "moxic metals" too? And ask him for paid help.

What if I'm Justin Trudeau? Dan talks positively about Canada which is suspicous.
What if I'm the director of that clinic in US? Hidden advert with the name of the the clinics.

What if I'm the CEO of that 4-seasons hotel in Hawaii? Hidden advert again.
What if I'm the head of the tourism of Indonesia? Bali is mentioned in the story too, in a positive manner. Hidden advert.

How would you know, man? No matter where you look at, there's always someone to benefit.

Watched all of it.

Interesting, but he doesn't have direct proof of the housekeeper poisoning him with rat poison, just suspicion, although with heavy evidence.
I believe his story as told, but his conclusions seem a little confabulated.
