I am telling a story on why you should read a book a day.

Story is that there is a guy in place in coal mines. He see's his grandfather that he reads 2-3 books a day.

So he got motivated and curious so decided to read a book a day. After some time he realized that he is not able to remember what is written in book. So he asked his grand father about what is the importance of reading a book even if we do not remember it for long. 
He asked the boy to take the coal basket and bring some water in it from the near by river. 

So the boy went and tried bringing water, after some time he realized that he is unable to bring water as it was a basket, not a bucket.

Then he asked his grandfather to tell why is he asking him to bring water in the coal basket?

Grandfather replied "Now look at the coal basket which was black and dirty before you tried bringing water with it, It is shining now. Similarly we also get shined through books with time internally. "

So this way he explained the importance of reading books.
