Is it ok to find it gross?

I find it gross and materialistic when people flaunt their collection of luxury shoes and watches. I like to own a single pair of decent stuff, not necessarily some luxury brand.

I see some people love to own a lot and flaunt it. I find it gross though.

My name is Victoria.

No, that's not it. Don't worry about other people and what they are flaunting, Worry about yourself. That was the message. But that was funny, though.

If you go deep enough on psychedelics all materialistic stuff and I mean everything means nothing to you anymore and even money. But one has to live in the world of Caesar. Very insecure humans that need to draw attention through avaricious or vaunting their so-called luxury items it makes me guffaw with delight. I agree with you.

I don't find it gross. It actually makes me happy I am not like them. They live in a completely different reality. Anytime I see someone brag about their expensive clothing, cars, or whatever, I feel much better about myself.

We like for people to be like us. When we see people doing innocent stuff that we wouldn't do, we judge it because that's not what we would do. "Why are you like that, that's not how I would be", we say. People are where they're at. Just like you're judging them and having a biased opinion about what they're doing and coming up with your ideas about what they're doing and why they're doing it. It's not that I never do it, it's not like I've never been that way, it's that I recognize its about me not them. How that makes you feel says something about you, check yourself and see why that is. That's called growth and becoming aware.

Don't judge me now for saying this because that will be saying something about you too. Let people be how they want to express themselves as long as they're not hurting anybody. There will be a time when they don't feel the need to do that anymore, it's called becoming. I'm not judging you, I'm just trying to bring something to your awareness and I'm doing it because I always welcome constructive criticism myself if it can help me grow and blossom into my full potential.

I might be blowing this out of proportion, but it's the meaning of the message that's important. Society is filled with things for us to grab unto to make us superficially feel fulfilled. We don't realize who we are so we latch on to things to make us feel a particular way. It's the feeling it gives them. It's not the car or the jewelry those are just tools, because we don't know how to generate those feelings within. You and I are doing it too, but just in different ways. You judge them because you judge yourself. Don't hate the messenger, hate the message.

Agree, it's ok to be materialistic but when it's made into a point of pride it's sick. Is the meaning of life really a rolex collection?

Mirror effect yes.
ON surely deprives itself of being eccentric, in its own way I mean.
