Realities of Finding an Awakened Partner

40 posts in this topic

I would love to get everyone's opinions on the realities of finding a highly conscious partner as a young person. I'm 23 yrs old but I've been doing this work earnestly for many years, and I've gotten decently far for my age. However, of course, it's rare to find anyone in their 20's who takes this stuff seriously. I seem to run into two situations when I'm talking to a girl I'm really interested in:

  1. I meet some girls who are into spirituality, but it's more of a new-age pop spirituality. Moreover, I find that most women I meet in this group often have a lot of trouble with really basic maturity, like managing their finances, developing emotional intelligence, and communicating well.
  2. I meet some girls who are super mature on a character level and I have great chemistry with, but they have absolutely no interest in spirituality... and my dedication to spirituality is confusing/frightening to them.

I know that the deeper I get into this work, the bigger the rift is going to be between me and the people in my age group when it comes to spirituality. I've done the pickup thing and I've also gone to tons of spiritual events in Austin, TX where I live... and the only dates I go on end up in one of those two groups. I generally have no problems attracting a partner, but it would be so much easier to get along in a long-term relationship or marriage if we both have those same values.

I really genuinely would like to get married and have kids someday, but this is leaving me wondering - should I just settle for someone who I get along with on a personal level even if they don't care too much about spirituality or just practice new-age pop spirituality? It seems to me that I could spend years pounding nightclubs and hippie events and still never find someone in my age group who is going to take this stuff seriously. Not just as a hobby or a couple of yoga classes - but genuine spirituality and awakening... aka cares about and experiences the shit our boy Leo talks about.

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this! Super grateful for this community and for Actualized.org! :)

Of course that will be super rare. Settle for a stage Green girl and be happy. That's what I do.

Where do you stand on your Life-Purpose?

If you meet this 'ideal woman' tomorrow and she asks you 'What contribution have you made to the world that you're the most proud of?', what would your answer be?

This is your problem right here. If you can't answer this question, the conscious women see you as a guy practicing 'new-age pop spirituality' and they don't take you seriously either. That's why you meet those kinds of women yourself!

And, to give you an idea of how things could work with someone who's genuinely awakened and who genuinely has integrity, she will be interested in what your Life-Purpose is, she will see whether it aligns with her values or not and if it does, she will fully support it. An unconscious woman will hold you back from following your passion if it means that the profit goes down for a month. But, a conscious woman will not nag you when that happens and she will support you instead.

@Leo Gura @Princess Arabia you guys should date ;)

Sounds like he already found himself a Stage Green partner. I have to work on levelling up to Stage Yellow, so I can knock her out the ball park. Better yet I'll just go for Turquoise. This way he'll be on his toes with me and all others wouldn't stand a chance. Ok, wake up Princess. ?

I feel ya, what interesting I found is that teachers of these events tend to be much more developed

Try to date teachers, not students

I'm definetely planning to do that myself

@Colin Williams

You just need one who values development in general and your job as a partner is to guide her to match your level. It'll take time, but that is the most logical way to do it. Even finding partner who seriously is open to develop is hard tho. And that way it'll be so much better anyways, because you two would share development journey as a team for longer and it'll make you two bond even stronger.

Who told you that "others" are real?

hm I've been having this exact question

I found one that does mushrooms with me and is very into being healthy and devleopment and stuff. For a while she said that she never wanted to go that far with spirituality but last time we did mushrooms she realized an ego death might be worth it.

I'm 21. Over the last 3 years I've influenced her a lot, I think you just need someone who is openminded and wants to grow, stage green is a good place to start.

@Princess Arabia Red light district. he is joking :)

Oh imagine that. I had to Google it. For those who don't know what it means: "An area of town or city containing many brothels, strip clubs and other sex businesses". I see you're familiar with those terminologies @StarStruck. Maybe I need to come to you for more terminologies, you might be able to educate me in areas where I'm lacking since I don't get around too much in those parts of town and am only familiar with places where "normal" people go. I don't need to visit those types of places to get business as potential customers do lurk on forums undercover.

I'm more familiar with the Spiral Dynamic Stages kind of education and spend more of my time studying human development, Spirituality and Consciousness. So excuse me if I mistakenly thought you meant I was Stage Red in SD because my mind rarely think about pornography and the likes as you so often like to post about.

Don't start with me guys, because I have no filter sometimes even though I will respectfully respond to your idiotic statements about what I do. It's always the horny ones too and the women haters. Geesh

Just to clarify. I do not take my business here but I was messaged on a previous occasion where I had to turn them down as you horny men don't understand that not every working girl mixes business with pleasure and doesn't feel like dealing with that type of business on my down time. And I also don't do anything on camera. When are you going to understand that there is no shame in my game because I understand who and what I am. So just save the cynical comments unless you don't mind being shamed yourself.

I don't work corners. Horny guys are everywhere I can get the Pastor if I was so inclined but I don't go to church. So there goes half my paycheck as they're the horniest ones. Guys, if you don't want them to close this thread, don't start.

Love just for the sake of loving.

Love to love. Love for no reason at all.

If you can really do this. You can really know someone.  You can be with people for no reason at all.

If you know yourself as a creator. You decide what you want to create in a relationship.

I create loyalty through my own action. I create being there for people. I create being patient and caring for those for no reason. I create infinite admiration of people. I create love in my words and behaviors to other.  I create acceptance. I create helping others. I create the attitude of working with other and leading people and be lead by them.

If someone is willing to create these things with me. If they are able to create these things with me, they are my partners, romantic, sexual or not. Sex is not a prerequisite for having partners. Even if they are not, I still create love and admiration for them for no reason at all.  I know what I want to create. My metric is growth and improvement. If I can help them and they can help me, I know we are having a great partnership.

My evaluation is not on spiritual knowledge but what we are actually creating together. My attention is on improvements.

What you resist, persists and less of you exists. There is a part of you that never leaves. You are not in; you have never been. You know. You put it there and time stretches.

I met a girl recently and she was pretty much perfect in terms of green flags but not spiritual. She doesn't need spirituality because she doesn't have red flags anyways. Super rare though
