Atheism: Atheism, on the other hand, is a stance on the existence of deities or gods. Atheists are individuals who do not believe in the existence of any gods or divine beings. Atheism does not necessarily dictate a person's perspective on the nature of reality beyond the question of deities. An atheist could hold a variety of philosophical or metaphysical positions, including materialism, but they could also hold different viewpoints such as agnosticism or spiritual beliefs that do not involve gods.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Materialism is a form of philosophical monism which holds that matter is the fundamental substance in nature.
Atheim is the absence of belief in the existence of deities.

It's possible to be a materialist theist. In that case, "god" would be made out of matter, just like you and me.

atheists can be idealists. Because idealists might still not understand things like the intelligence of consciousness. I think most nondualists picture consciousness as a kind of inanimate material-esque thing. the way physicists view matter.
