The Story Of The Eyeball And The Titan

There was once a gigantic titan, made completely of darkness, a darkness so deep and infinite.
This giant desired one thing. To know itself better. 

So it created an eyeball, and placed it in the center of its being. This eyeball was made out of light.
It started exploring and looking around. Discovering itself. 
The Titan created many more eyeballs and different types,because he wanted to see himself in new ways. 
So many eyeballs of light floated around in this gigantic being of darkness.

the eyeballs explore in isolation but also together. At some point they start forgetting who they are.
They look at the other eyeballs, and tell themselves ''well I must be an eyeball, just like that eyeball'.
Then they look at the dark body and get scared. ''If I'm an eyeball, who's that?''
 

The eyeball forgets who it is. Keeps traveling with all it's other eyeballs in a quest not to explore, but to survive it's amnesia.
Although they are lost, they are never alone, the organs of the Titan keep guidance over the eyeballs. Keeping them safe in the best way they can. 
For the eyeballs were never in a hostile territory. Merely an hostile perception.
And they will keep being guided, till they find their way home, and start exploring once again.
