This spiritual teacher is very interesting. He didn't live an easy life. When he was young he almost starved himself to death to attain enlightenment. Then he returned home to find out that his family has accumulated huge debts. So he started learning Indian medicine and became popular as a healer, He then lost all his money in a scam. His two wives and children died. He suffered from multiple illnesses and sought treatment for years with no use. He worked with sweepers and lived among lepers and beggers. And finally, he lived in a small old dirty ashram teachings his students.

It is a common misconception that just because you're Awake that you will be healthy. But that's just not necessarily the case.

So it's good to hear of examples where these assumptions are demolished.
