Show Me Your Fashion

13 posts in this topic

This post is about posting here your fashion, outfit, style, or what you wear if you are going out. This is to inspire others, or making them open to what we can wear, what is the best to wear, to give us also an idea. Also, I want this to become a thread about projection, how you project yourself, how confident are you, how you do your poses etc.

Please, share us also here what clothes are you wearing and where did you buy that.

I bought this Patagonia Retro-x fleece recently (see model pic below) and it's one of my favourite items of clothing I've worn in a while. I think it suits my personality well and I usually wear it with very similar dark navy jeans to what you see below. I tend to wear mostly just jeans and a t-shirt for convenience and then a more interesting jacket for style.

You could probably call my style something close to Gorpcore.

I like Levi's jeans, and I like Patagonia t-shirts, especially capilene cool trail. But these are more for quality, comfort, ethics, and practicality rather than style.

It's also again not really style, but I'd recommend you get rid of all of your socks and buy like 3 pairs of darn tough merino wool socks. They're comfortable, very smell-resistent, and they'll last you a lifetime. And if they break, they come with a lifetime warranty so you can get replacements sent out for free.

A black merino wool t-shirt and cargo shorts. Not for style, but for comfort.

Lucky for you cargo stuff seems to be back in style, at least where I live, haha

  1. Vivo Foot barefoot shoes (waterproof and winterproof) https://www.vivobarefoot.com/uk/tracker-ii-fg-mens-ss22
  2. Vivo Foot trail running shoes for running and everday wear https://www.vivobarefoot.com/uk/primus-trail-ii-fg-mens-ss22 (goog quality but i had to stitch them with nylon thread)
  3. Black umbrella
  4. Black rainjacket
  5. Black Waterproof cap
  6. Merino tube scarf
  7. fleece beanie and fleece gloves
  8. used Northface backpack small
  9. 40 liter 5.11 tactical backpack
  10. Some jeans, cargo jeans, hiking pants,  some cargo shorts and other, 1 pair of rain trousers
  11.  3 hoodies, 3 pullovers, 2 jackets and 2 vests, 1 coat; most of this i had for a very long time or got for free,
  12. random t-shirts, socks, black long sleeves
  13. 1 suit, and 3 shirts, 2 ties
  14. some sport clothing for summer and winter
  15. 2 pairs of sunglasses, 1 polarized, 1 self-tinting

Im not going to buy clothes for a long time until they are completely broken or i need an upgrade for weather conditions, im more practical about clothing and put showing of outfits aside and combine the stuff i have in a decent simple manner, i have atleast 1 outfit that is wearable for serious occassions and im currently wearing out what accumulated over the years. I certainly will change into a smaller high quality, practical oriented (high performance, weather protection, fit for the occasion) wardrobe over time.

Oof, I was wearing the exact same stuff back when I was living in the Alps.

Patagonia Fleece, Levi’s Jeans, New Balance Runners. :D

I recently bought this Armani „micro-perforated lambskin nappa leather“ jacket and I LOVE it.

I started wearing the same outfit to work everyday à la Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, etc.:

Black Margiela Sneakers, black Dolce & Gabbana suit pants, black Sunspell t-shirt (the one James Bond wore in Casino Royale) and said jacket.

I look and feel like a spy (a massively hot one) xD

@Nilsi Check this out you might like it. It may fits your style, but it is on the pricey side.

I look silly in coats. You have to be very tall and massive to pull this off (e.g. Tristan Tate).

I tend to stick to the "law of thirds" - even when it comes to jackets and stuff, I dont like anything below hip length.
