It also helps having a feed back system, like in chess when you make a bad move the opponent punishes it, the mistake cannot be self-deceptively avoided because you loss. So a bad move is a mistake in your thinking process, only by self-reflecting with meta-thinking = thinking about thinking can you refine the thinking process to improve at the game, and trial and error.

This forum is a feed back system like that for all ideas.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

You question with the intent to discover what's true about any given subject.

What is X? What is a body? What is emotion? What is perception? What is skill?

You could think about contemplation as a form of meditation. You need to be curious about a word or a certain thought to begin with.

Then you bring that thought into the mind and let it marinate for a bit in your curiosity. You can then begin to gently twist and turn this single word or thought without forcing any particular meaning onto it, to see what is left of it for you to explore.

@integral ive watched the episodes back in the day but still didnt understand it.

Theres a question. An answer or thoughts arrives. How can i know its not just me building things up? How do i know im not just speculating?

I ask more questions but my mind always give answers. What else can it do?

@ShardMare You can question your answers again and again by using why and how? Till when you are not satisfied with answers.
