I don't think it's like that. I think that in the specific case of Nahm there are feelings involved, and that clouds the perception. a special case.

This may come off as arrogant but he is not yet awake and it is he that I worry where he may be taking his students.  Leo's stuff is solid.   But nahm teaches a sort of no self idealogy that can really brainwash people if they aren't wary.  As you said I don't think it is intentional.  Realizing there is no self is the pillar of enlightenment, indeed,  but his brand has been twisted and contorted. He is not intentionally doing this, he is just deceived.   Moksha is caught up with the whole spirituality mumbo jumbo ad well - though I love him to death he hasn't yet awoken.  Awakening has nothing to with integration.  That's a total separate thing the ego can do after coming back or returning from death.   Awakening is just pure Actuality or pure Being...there isn't anything to do or conceptualize about

simply this information: in his bio (which you can read in this forum) he says that he manages 3 successful businesses (3!) and that he regularly meets millionaires. That means private jets, helicopter, yachts, this stuff. but he was here all day fishing people to collect money in exchange for transfers to enlighten them. He got $1,500 from one of them, raptorsin. what else do you need? see him with a mask and flashlight and a bag on his back, tiptoeing into your house at night? but that information is not necessary, just read their post. all lies, incomprehensible rhetoric intended to provoke in the reader the reaction of: shit, he is so enlightened that he speaks in koans, the absolute is communicated through him. fuck me please! take my money!! Be my guru!!! Same than that Artem.

There’s a difference between avoiding suffering and confronting it. The danger lies in believing that suffering is to be avoided because it is wrong. 

My dad actually opened up to me today something he’s been keeping a secret for 15 years (ever since I got diagnosed with mental health disorders and autism). He has this belief that because I’m suffering, he wishes I was never born. The pain for my father is too great that he would rather avoid the truth of who or what I am. He instead pretended that everything was fine and continued living in a fantasy, which of course also affected my development. 

I’m proud of my dad for finally opening up (after I had to yell back and fourth with him, similar to what was happening on this forum… hmm!). However, I’m not proud of the fact that these wrong ideas were being perpetuated and kept secret for a profoundly long period of time.

I hope this gives an idea of the dangers of dogma and group-think, and how it affects the whole.

Exactly. all that about avoiding suffering has nothing to do with opening up to infinity, with awakening. suffering is part of reality. Another thing is that since it is uncomfortable and annoying, we use our intelligence to minimize it, just as we minimize an invasion of insects at home, and awakening helps a lot  .but awakening = not suffer, bullshit. You can be the most awake guy in the world, or in the alien galaxy, that if they lock you in a box for a year, you will suffer.
