Creativity will purify you

10 posts in this topic

Creativity alone can purify your entire being and set you on 'the right track' towards peace, joy, fulfilment and enlightenment, even. In fact, creativity is what ultimately lead me to self - realization. I came to understand reality and existence as a whole because of creativity. Because of my pure, unconditional love and appreciation for music. And its unconditional love and appreciation for me.

I've been committed to this path since I was 6, not even knowing what I was really signing up for. It's been more than 20 years now and the passion just keeps burning stronger and stronger.

I was knocked off track, several times, but I always found my way back. It always found its way back to me. It is simply meant to be.

It was challenging to get back into the flow - if you will - but once that momentum started building up, I was sucked into it before I even knew it.

And oh boy does it feel good.

There is no bullshit running through my mind. No toxic nonsense. No limiting, self - defeating ideas, no judgement, no fear, no worry. My mind is preoccupied with melodies, rhythms, arrangements, etc. It's all just juicy, free-flowing creativity. Active, conscious, living, breathing imagination. And guess what that is...? It's Truth.

Creativity is all around you. Yourself included. Creativity is God - quite literally. Knowing how to take hold of that energy - so to speak - channel it and turn it into something unique and defined, is a skill worth learning.

You cannot not be creative. How conscious you are of your creation (and destruction) is another thing. Generally speaking, the less you consciously create, the more you unconsciously (self) destruct.

Have fun.

@ivankiss good post as always :)

Does doing art require creativity or does creativity produces good art ? Is it a two way street ?

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

@Someone here Thanks.

I'd say art is the final product of creativity. It is something defined and solid that the artist puts on a pedestal for others to admire, interpret in their own ways, etc. It is the artist's attempt to capture a moment of infinity. It is like a snapshot of God - if you will. And a good artist should know how to make that picture speak loud and clear.

Hell yeah… I love music, and I’m planning on playing the piano again soon!

I jotted down some quick notes after my 3rd therapy assisted ketamine session. I haven’t looked at it since Jan 2022, so thank you for the reminder. Many of the insights for this session were about my love for music. Here they are; I’ve expanded and reorganized the insights ever-so-slightly to reflect my current understanding (like a music producer would, heh!) :

The entire experience felt holistic… like music!

  • Talkative during this session (whereas I was silent as a monk in previous sessions).
    • Words coming out without force / effort.
    • This doesn’t mean I was manic, although I observed how my mind originally tried to convince me I was.
    • My therapist said that she was happy to hear me talking!
      • At this point, it was evident that “me” and “my therapist” are identical.

  • Music and life are synonymous
    • During the come up I asked my therapist to make the music higher (it was playing through a portable speaker).
    • You can experience music so intimately and connect it to memories deep within your subconscious. There are infinite degrees to this intimacy.
    • At the peak of the trip, the music felt divine. The quality of the music was infinite. There was no longer judgement of the music. I experienced music beyond the human senses.
    • I became MUSIC!

  • I’m able to heal my own pain by giving it love and attention, rather than pushing it away and avoiding.
    • At one point my heartbeat was so intense, it felt like I was about to implode.
      • I opened my concern to my therapist; she said I looked completely calm. She said that I’m free to move and feel however I please.
      • After the infusion, I asked one of the nurses if my heart rate was normal (they constantly monitor vitals in separate room). He said that nothing was wrong.

  • Death is an illusion
    • After the session ended I said, ”It feels like an endless orgasm.”
      • My therapist said that I was experiencing bliss.
    • Bliss is within and beyond all words.
    • Distinction between what we call “reality” and “fiction” is imaginary/made up.
      • All distinction is Infinite Imagination!

  • One of the machines in the room makes a beeping sound when the infusion is almost over.
    • My therapist warned me about it before the session; she suggested I simply ignore it when it starts beeping.
      •  When the beeping came on, I put my attention onto it.
        • I found the sound to be universally hilarious :-D

@Yimpa  I have been pondering music therapy. Specifically, I want better communication with my body. I want to be able to increase my intuition by experiencing my body's reaction to the environment and people. This is just for fun and exploration, nothing serious.  Is there a term for a specialist in this field of work?

Do you have a favorite resource?

What do you look for in a therapist? What causes you to feel/think that this person is just right for me?

What you resist, persists and less of you exists. There is a part of you that never leaves. You are not in; you have never been. You know. You put it there and time stretches.

Creativity purifies because it requires an unobstructed channel. Purity creates because it allows an unobstructed channel.

Just because God loves you doesn't mean it is going to shape the cosmos to suit you. God loves you so much that it will shape you to suit the cosmos.

Do you have a favorite resource?

ASMR artists. I recommend this dude for example

I also asked GPT-4 for you, and it mentioned, “There are practitioners of Sound Healing or Vibrational Medicine, who use sound frequencies and music to affect the body's energy fields, though these practices are considered more alternative. They might use techniques such as biofeedback or guided meditation in conjunction with sound and music.”

Sounds like fun to me!

Ever since I finished my ketamine infusions (8 in total), I was slowly guided to the right therapist for me. You’ll just know, beyond logic.

They’ll snap you out of your bs and teach you life transformative skills masterfully. They don’t follow the herd or give you cookie-cutter therapy. They think independently so that they can focus on YOU.

creativity is pruning thoughts so they no longer drag you around like the bull with a chain in its nose

auto-pilot is the opposite of creativity

sameness is man-like, difference is god-like

every day i don't do something different is a waste

chipping away the false is the true purification

the true the mind cannot touch

zap the thoughts as they come inside, release the attachments as they present outside
