If you don’t need it you get it

I don’t get this but it is true. 

• If you don’t need approval you get approval. 
• If you don’t need money, money gets on your way. 
• if you don’t need that girl you will get that girl 
• if you don’t need that job you will get that job 
• if you don’t need happiness you get happiness 

Desire creates lack and you start chasing it, but if you don’t have it it is obvious you have the lack.

It is easy to say to a guy who hasn’t had water for 30 days to stop being thirsty. Can what you tell to such a person? It is easy to tell that guy to not be that thristy while you had enough water. That is the whole counter intuitive thing about it. 

Mark Manson talks about it in his book. Big idea of the book: backward law from Alan Wats: Persuit of positive exp is a negative exp, acceptance of negative exp is an itself a postive exp. 

So one has to basically accept the thirstiness and negative exp are part of the game.

I wonder if Mark Manson talks about the process of getting from wanting to pursue positive experiences to accepting negative experiences? Because you would have to go through a lot of work, discipline, and life lessons learnt in order to get from A to B here, right? It's not like, oh I don't envy this job anymore and then that company is going to like headhunt you immediately.

This is not an A to B thing. Life works in mysterious ways.

You cannot need something you already have or else you wouldn't need it. Since you ARE everything, you don't need anything. That's why things come to you when you don't need it, it only comes into your field if you're vibrating on that frequency. Everything already exists and you're just here to experience that part of yourself that you chose to experience in any given moment. You can chose to experience something different, but you have to be a vibrational match to that thing since everything is energy. This is why the rich stays rich and the poor stays poor. A rich man who loses his riches can always get it back if he's still vibrating on the abundant frequency...and so on.
