Mastering socializing is a bit different than, sports & tech

Top: calm, authentic, kind, calibrated, detached

7/8: socializing field report (for +1)

Bad day socializing. I had a ton of anxiety. But good thing is I got a lot of good responses 

Good thing is I was able to hold my own in many of my convos. I did put effort.

1. *Though sometimes I lose energy midway. I think the solution to that is to relax and try to connect. Need to open yourself up a bit. *

2. *another note: focus on self esteem, Calibration, reps and iteration. That will take you far* 

All 6 men you talked to today went great. The 2 woman you talked to, the convo was pretty dead. 

The group of woman was also extremely judgemental. Shitting on men the entire conversation. What a sad conversation to be in, listen to and witness. 

3. *solution is to give these rude women grace. You're not a perfect human being either. Forgive them*

4. *you need to calm down bro. You are getting wayy to anxious. Which is valid to be honest. In the future remember to breathe, relax*

The problem with short form quotes is that they are just segments of an entire map. It's like if you tell someone to use chalk for bench press. It's just so limited and myopic. Though, it's not valueless. It's just myopic.

Limiting beliefs are very pervasive 

We are limitless as human beings 

 

But our beliefs can hold us back. They can make us think something isn't possible, as if that is reality 

Limiting beliefs can stem from trauma

Trauma can be healed through trauma work. Such as trauma focused cbt, mindfulness, somatic work like letting go, inner child work

An insight when picking food to eat from the grocery store.

The marketing can be deceptive, there is a certain amount of gambling when buying food. 

The perception =/= reality 

 

Also the same when finding therapists

Some red flags in therapy field-

- Therapist sees himself as an authority and doesn't value your opinions 

- gives advice without developing good context 

- tries to help in a speciality field without expertise or understanding of that speciality 

- is lacking in EQ, empathy, listening skills, responsibility skills 

- doesn't know/understand your goals or intentions

The *sheer* amount of limiting beliefs I notice within people when regarding dating is crazy 

Succeeding in dating is the same as anything else

Root cause -> probably lack of systemic support

 

What are solutions:

Challenging limiting beliefs 

Affirmations + visualizations, building a good self image 

Journalling 

Self esteem work, trauma work 

Good support system

Inner game and outer game are very intertwined 

 

So like an output of a 1h session requires a strong inner game to even happen

So like strategy, belief systems, habits, mood, desire, motivation, intention etc.

It doesn't just "happen"
