If any of you've been wondering why your Google search results with "reddit" keeps getting privated for the past couple days like mine have, this is why:

As for Facebook and other platforms where people were saying "they're dead", they'd still probably be active.

I mean look at FB. Everybody from my generation and after is saying it's shit yet people still use it.

People also complain about Youtube but despite the various alternatives, I feel like the number of user and creators there is so big that nobody will ever move somewhere else.

And sadly it might be similar for Reddit? I have to admit it's very convenient and my go to for a lot of things. And its power comes from the number of users. (as in, if you want to know something, you just have to see which posts are the most upvoted. It doesn't mean it'll always be true, but this is certainly a way to know some things are better than other in some categories)
