Floating Cities for Climate Change + Puerto Rico Weather Record Problem

This video made me to contemplate how I am living my life currently, although I consider myself a bit hippy on my lifestyle, I know I can do so much better. In my view it seems sad that now people have to leave the ground area because of climate change.

Has anyone here on the forum has been working already with their carbon footprint? Aka live a greener environment friendly lifestyle? Maybe possible solution(s) to help improve the climate environment? 

Where I live in Puerto Rico, we are reaching new levels of hot weather which I find it worrisome of course, but nobody is talking about how WE are also responsible for this.

Also on Puerto Rico they aren’t recycling trash bus, maybe in some areas? I know this is a small piece of where trash is going and it is affecting also our weather possibly, I feel I need to dive deep into the subject.
