In the beginning of the movie, you have the narrator implying that raising children is a big responsibility; this is expected of someone who wants to become a grandmaster in the fictional world of Jumangi. Watch how the two main characters––Red and Kumatetsu–– emotionally transform throughout the movie. And the grandmaster takes notice, wisely stating that they helped each other transform as interdependent parts. 

The movie is also a cool showcasing of the concepts of the hero's journey and psychological shadow as well. Enjoy!
