Does sense of control come from intellectualising ?

Mental grasping is trying to figure out what is happening with every moment , what my actions and other people's actions or communication mean. How do I achieve my goal? How do I fix something in my life or with this interaction . The sense of control is needing things to be different , to know how something works or how to get there ?

Authentic self-refining practice is accomplished by subtly observing consciousness mindfully 24/7. Done so effectively, the mind-monkey is now and again subdued in fits and starts without harm to beneficial psychological processes. Eventually, habit-awareness cannot withstand the unbending intent of such scrutiny. Eventually, it will crap out on its own. Formal meditation regimens are only an introductory lesson on basic approaches to mental discipline in terms of meeting the requirements of what is called for, in order to recognize and nurture formless potential alighting in the midst of psychological pattern-consciousness.

It must be made clear that t is not necessarily beneficial to "help" speed up inevitability by taking fashionable drugs to artificially interrupt consciousness before the time one's cultivated accord in reality has properly and naturally reached maturation.

Your last sentence included a poignant kernel, "The sense of control is needing things…"

I would encourage you to reflect on this excellent observation you've brought to bear for a few lifetimes! It's a real gem.

This is why Human Spirituality is Bullshit. Because they teach demonization of mind. WHICH IS STUPID!!! ALL OF REALITY IS PURE PERFECTION. To demonize any one thing, is to demonize the ALL. This is the issue with Human Spirituality they don't understand that all relativity creates complexity and confusion. Judge every teaching based on Self-Love. God has perfect acceptance of everything because God is Self-Love. As such...the highest teaching will see everything as equal expressions of God as such there is no transcendence, there is no progression, just pure acceptance of what is. 

You want to awaken as God? Accept everything totally and complete as pure perfection. God= Pure Perfection and it is impossible for it to be otherwise. Why? To what can God be compared to? If God is all there is? There is no other Authority but God. If God doesn't love itself...it can't look to an other to do it for God. This is why each iteration of God living as an Ego does not realize that the more Bias it has, the more distorted its understanding will be. If your mind is closed you cannot see. 

God= Absolute Open Mind. You wanna awaken fully? Make it your Goal to do the same to the best of your capacity. God's love defies human understanding. If you want to know God that human understanding gotta go. If you cannot see what human's call the worst acts as pure perfect love= Genocide, Child Molestation, Slavery, Torture/Dismemberment, etc....then you do not understand God.

I’m an overthinker so how would go about that? I’m stuck in mind and I don’t think self love alone will solve this. Loving myself is a bridge too far for me. Just accepting certain parts of myself is already a big task for me and perhaps in the future I could convert self acceptance (LOC350)into self love(LOC500).Currently I’m doing a lot of meditation to still my mind but you are saying this is all bullshit?

@StarStruck self-love should be unconditional nothing good can come from hating, you have to own who you are and work with what youve got and where you are at otherwise you're in denial of reality
