How did you read 600 books in 4 years? That's insane man! Congrats! Tell us what you learned from them. It is about quality of learning, not quantity of learning.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

I think op just copied the title of the video.

But out of curiosity how much did you read in last year? The last time I read a full book was like 3 years ago, does not do it for me anymore.

Completely stupid. Means that, unless he is a genius, he does not try to understand what he reads at all and just tries to read read and read to inflate his ego.

I don't like click-bait titles like that but from the titles of his videos, he looks good.

"Say to the sheep in your secrecy when you intend to slaughter it, Today you are slaughtered and tomorrow I am.
Both of us will be consumed.

My blood and your blood, my suffering and yours is the essence that nourishes the tree of existence.'"

Not really possible unless he specially picks very short books and he listened to many audiobooks at fast speed.

I have personally read 114 books in one year but things get so boring after the 200th book.

If after 600 books, his psychology becomes like this, then he might as well not read so many books.

@LSD-Rumi

Owen Cook said one day: If you criticize people for using clickbait, you don't love them and don't understand the war for attention.

I'll never criticize Leo if one day he uses clickbait titles on his videos.

I think it will do more good than harm.

It's better seeing spirituality videos than people inside tubs of Nutella.

Click-bait is a form of deception. I instantly lose respect and cannot trust anyone who uses it intentionally. The ego will justify deception all day. You have to deceive yourself to think it’s okay to deceive others.

Edit: I could care less about one’s knowledge of if they read 600 books. I care more about one’s level of self-deception, which is more of an indicator of one’s level of consciousness.

@r0ckyreed I think that if the content is high-quality, you don't need to feel guilty about doing clickbait.

Creators should not be entitled and think "I will not use clickbait, I deserve that people stop what they are doing and watch all my videos".

Come on... You're not that special.

Haha, what a load of self-serving horseshit.

I value authenticity and truth. I don’t need to mislead people to feel secure. If my content is high quality truly, then clickbait is not needed. That’s ultimately what clickbait is about. Get attention through mastery not deception.

That's it. I agree with your POV.

The only harsh point is that people's RAS today are so hijacked that maybe your high quality content will not resonate with them :/

How can you be a master with a high quality content and at the same time knows how to keep attention and engagement?

I remember Leo talking about his views on YT going down, because people's attention spam are decreasing over time. (TikTok, Reels).

It's hard to win the attention war.

The RAS is a huge problem for sure.

There is a difference between a misleading title and knowing how to keep an audience engaged. Deception isn’t the only method, but it is very effective for sure.

It is easy to sell my soul to the Devils and play their game. I am gonna be as honest and truthful with my content as much as I can.

Now I am curious as to the statistics on books now. I would bet that reading is going out of trend now.

600 psychology books is just overkill.

If you need to read that many books to figure out how to live a good life, there's something very wrong with you :P

Remember the 80/20 principle: 20% of those books will get you 80% of your results ;)

Leo’s non-click bait (mostly) titles are appreciated.

Personally I don't think a little over 1.5 books a day is a big deal... especially if you're serious and passionate about research as an endeavor, or if you are a professional researcher/ academic. But I'm a fast read so...

Getting bored out of your mind reading similar enough ideas over and over again is a separate issue though, lol.

Most psychology books are a rehash of Carl Jung's work, stoicism, and basic classical logic. Reading the source will do you more than read watered down self-help books for dummies.
