God Fucking Damn it, Another Meditation Rant Thread

72 posts in this topic

Get yourself initiated by a kriya / energised sadhana and don't waste time meditating just doing nothing.

After I got initiated in shamavhi I laugh at how much time I wasted 'meditating'.

Truth is neither a destination nor a conclusion. Truth is a living experience.

Which part? What is the value of being able to sit and blank out of existence for 6 days?

Not any part in particular but the guy itself is a gem worth checking out.

If i understand it right, the value is that one transcends all manifestation, becomes "liberated", end of suffering, end of craving, end of all ignorance about the nature of reality and oneself etc, ability to see how your mind creates all experience down to the subtles levels etc. There could be more idk. It is sayed, the sense of freedom that one experiences in nibbana makes one lose all interest in wordly pleasures totally.

@Salvijus When it’s shockingly clear that beginning and end are identical, then you’ve completely lost your shit.

Yeah, it’s bananas. Best to gradually grow.

Yes, he has got some impressive credentials, indeed. And also is pleasant to listen to. I'm glad I followed your link to his full interview before you deleted it. It really provided the necessary context.

It happens as it must. Realization doesn't necessitate dissolving the dream, only seeing it for what it is. It is the peak experience of flying unconditionally, without fear of falling. Eventually, even flying takes its course, and the absolute returns to the still solace of itself.

Just because God loves you doesn't mean it is going to shape the cosmos to suit you. God loves you so much that it will shape you to suit the cosmos.
