A lot of great game design though.

When you get tired of all this Actualized stuff, you should definitely get back into video game designing. Create a video game all on your own from scratch.

Perhaps this forum is a super early stage / inspiration of that dream game of yours!

Portal, only the portal weapon opens into the depths of consciousness. Then you will see all the structures & religions of society are forms of control fed to us by The Others. The truth from the cradle of civilisation!

Leo doesn't have infinite resources. As great as this may be, his path is directed elsewhere ?

Nah, he should make a movie or some badass art through some engine to explain nonduality.

I have considered it, but making games is so labor-intensive that it's nearly impossible without a large team.

You can start small, like a indie game. Then we will see how it evolves.

Undertale and Hylics 1 & 2 are great examples of what a 1 man group or 2 could do. Ofc I assume you want something of best quality, but like the way you teached us: “start, friking, small!”, and maybe on mid development you see the possibility of grow your team.

You don't need a large team per se. If anything that could make the process longer and more cumbersome due to how many people need to be managed. That's why most large studios end up making derivative by-the-numbers tripe, because that's what large hard-to-manage teams are better at making.

You just need a clear vision and a small highly talented group dedicated enough to spend years on it.

Most popular indie games are made by very small teams of like 1 person to 5 people:
- Stardew Valley (1 person)
- Tunic (1 person)
- Fez (4 people)
- Dwarf Fortress (1 person)
- Cuphead (5 people)
- Five Nights at Freddy's (1 person)
- A Hat in Time (1 person initally, then got global volunteer support later on)
- Undertale (1 person)
etc. etc.

Of course, some of these took a few years to make but the big to massive success they got makes it worth it.

Good times, good times…too bad the creator became a asshole afterwards.

Creative af, hard and good times. If you like to draw or to animate you’ll appreciate this very deeply. Also if you were raised watching oldschool musical cartoons going back to the 30s black and white.

On my list, it has some uplifting vibes which I like.

@Juan @Extreme Z7 Indie games are quite limited. If Leo wants to invest his time in something, I think he wants something big, at least at this point of his life.

Well, we bringed examples of some awesome indie games, then after that they did bigger successors. If you expect to build a big ass legit rocket to space as your first time, expect to failure big time, so start, friking, small! This is no brainer.

Leo is beyond making small games or doing small things. When you become someone like Leo,  you think big, you do big.

But he should collect the capital for such endeavors. Maybe with his new courses, he will.

Obviously but as a also artist like him, even I’m aware that before do big art projects I need some experience first with small ones so you can also build capital and noise, at least test out the waters of what is possible.

I don’t want to talk loudly about this but I assume Leo has a lot of budget for at least invest in a starter game project, maybe he can go big already, again I don’t want to speculate about this.

I think at least a thousand people will be interested in his alien God course, maybe he will make half a million from it.

and 10000 in his more practical one, that's 2.5 million.

but even 3 million is not  that much for building a triple-A video game. Maybe he should make an indie game after all xD

Just saw it, from what I’ve seen in discussions about the game, I would dare to call Link a psychopath lol cuz he doesn’t express ANY emotion towards situations. Wind Waker’s Link has been the most expressive one so far and this was the gamecube era.

Hopefully on the next Zelda for the next hardware, we should, FINALLY, give a voice to Link, if not then give it a word but used in a badass needed scene or emotional. For example the Doomguy character from Doom Eternal, it wasn’t until the DLC final boss, he was asked a question and he just answered “No”.

Same they could do it with Link, important scene, important word, hype big time.

The game sold 10 million units in the first 3 days, making it the fastest-selling Zelda game yet. BOTW sold 35 million up to this day, will see if it breaks that record.
