Share Haikus

I’ve been getting into writing haikus this past week. As an aspiring musician, I find this a useful daily practice to get the creative juices flowing. Share some haikus you’ve made or any ones you found elsewhere!

Here’s a couple I made:

Awakening

Pure light stretching out

Caressing every dark cloud

Universe expands

Stone

Hammer hits concrete

Deconstructing each treasure

   That's cool, I've heard haiku is like a Japanese version of poetry? What are the rule of haiku?

Yep, it originate in Japan.

That doesn’t have to be a strict rule, especially if you’re making haikus in English. Japanese has phonetic and grammatical characteristics that are different compared to English. 

Still a nice challenge, though.
