What is your definition of enlightenment?

42 posts in this topic

It is a state different from any other state, it is not a person, it is precisely the opposite of an "I", it can not be owned.

There will always be enlightenment, it wont go away from reality, yet it takes different character between different people, or should I say "beings".

Yet it is non of the above, it is ineffable.

Nobody has authority on it, yet a culture of seekers needs, at their own pace, authority-figures of it.

how much can you bend your mind? and how much do you have to do it to see straight?

realizing that you are not a being that interacts with reality, but that you are reality. You are not a fish in water, you are water in water, the part and the whole are the same, there is nothing alien to you. you are the being, the total reality, the absolute. you exist in the eternal now and your depth is unfathomable, and the strangest of all: nothing exists outside of you, because you are existence itself. This is so, real, now.

as soon as you see it, the control relaxes, and you see it more deeply each time. and the more deeply you see it, the more you realize how useless it is to think about it. Either you are aware of that now, or you are not. the rest is rudimentary software, sticks and stones
