I suspect it's because he was gonna have some sexual harassment lawsuits and Fox wanted to cut their losses now. I don't think this was related to the Dominion settlement. Tucker probably has more skeletons in his closet that we don't even know about yet.

That's the only reason I can think of that Fox would fire him. It's not like Fox has suddenly developed journalistic integrity. They fired him to save themselves.

How do so many of these successful people end up with scandals and getting caught so often for degenerate behavior ? You'd figure people would be more careful when they have so much to lose.

I'm just starting to get some traction and build my reputation and I'm already paranoid and careful about who I hang out with and what I do because I don't want to jeopardize what I'm building for myself.

It just baffles me how people can seem so intelligent and skilled to excel at some career but be completely void of rationality at the same time.

It is well-known that Fox News has had a culture of sexual harassment since forever. I am surprised no one is talking about it right now. Everyone seems to be distracted by the Dominion lawsuit.

Bill O'Reilly was fired for sexual harassments lawsuits.

Tucker has spoken against the military-industrial complex. He also talked about the Jan 6 insurrection, and he interviewed Robert F Kennedy Jr to talk about corruption with big pharma not to mention he was trying to get an interview with Putin which was probably the biggest reason IMHO

It's not like Tuckerson is going to suffer too much because of this. He has his own private platform and tons of support. 

He might start something like Trump's Truth.

Some are suggesting that this interview with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. could have gotten Tucker Carlson fired.    Kennedy starts out talking about corporate kleptocracy in America and then shifts to criticism of the US support of Ukraine, suggesting that Ukraine is being used as a pawn by the Biden administration.

It will still be hard for him to reach Fox News levels of reach. Now he will mostly have a niche audience of his hardcore fans, sorta like Alex Jones. Tucker was most dangerous when Fox gave him such a mainstream platform.

Tucker might even get banned from YT, etc if he's not careful.

I already read a tweet by Ben Shapiro's CEO offering Tucker a check if only he would take it.

If they were gonna give Steven Crowder $50+ million, they would give Tucker $100+ million.
