Leo, did you take day offs when you were studying engineering?

Just curious because you've mentioned before that you like to take your time and slow down when learning. Coupling that with the heavy workload of Engineering, it seems kinda impossible to have full day offs. I was just curious because I was talking to an engineering professor at my university and he said during his undergrad that he only had Friday night off, was wondering if you can confirm that. I guess another thing to mention was how the hell did he not burn out? does slowing down to learn the topic automatically remove burn out?

I corporate now. No more jokes or I report, yes?

Hey there… I know the question was directed to Leo, but I’m wondering if we think what works for someone will work the same for us?  From the comment… Feeling burned out while studying Engineering?

If you're young I think a big part of it is not knowing how to learn effectively and efficiently. I dropped out of engineering -- but ultimately think it would have been wise to at least have a part time job. I think it would have been doable but stressful, sure.

Obviously natural talent (IQ) and the major itself / difficulty of the engineering niche versus other engineering niches. For instance, civil engineering being easier than electrical engineering intellectually or even mechanical engineering. It also depends on your natural inclinations and interests.

What's your major.

Lastly, you might not have full days off. But you gotta find pockets of time within the day to recharge. Go for walks. Meditate. Etc... Unwind -- throughout the day!!!

Good luck!
