Existence is non-localized

4 posts in this topic

Think about it ..what is the location or position of existence?  Where is it existing?  Like we exist inside the universe, right ? Then where does the universe exist ? Let's imagine that the universe exists in some sort of container that is bigger than it ...OK fine ..but that is just pushing the problem back one level ..because we have to ask where does that container exist ? And immediately you should see that we are facing the "turtles all the way up " situation here.  Existence has no beginning or end . And therefore it exists quite literally nowhere.

But that's the macro level that I just explained..let's consider the micro level . What do you think is the building blocks of existence?  You might say atoms . But of course you have to ask what are the atoms made out of ? And again you are just pushing the problem down one level and we are facing a "turtles all the way down "again .

We can do the same thing with Time as well .

And my point is that existence being infinite in all directions and dimensions is something that will shatter your mind's ability to comprehend.  Think about the ramifications of that . Post em in the comments below !

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

Very nice.

So space is infinite. In what is space appearing? Maybe space is.... imagined?

And something is still appearing in It. A world. So there is Reality. Whatever that is. One can never discuss that away.

And now think about if there are two Realities. You, and Reality. Or is it just one Reality? Can you find any separation between you and Reality, that is not an arising within Reality? Try to find any boundary that would limit space/imagined space. And check if that again wouldn't be an arising in Consciousness/You.

If all appearances would disappear, would there still be time?

Are you still there when you wake up in the morning, after having been in deep sleep? Of course. So has the True You been there in Deep Sleep. By definition. So can You/Reality be unaware of itself if no appearance shows up? It very much can, think Nirvikalpha, Deep Sleep, Cessation, ...

What is "that" which can be unaware of itself, if no apperance shows up?

True. Here is where a nondual Awakening may come in handy. To answer the Koans I have written above. For that you need a nondual and pretty empty state, because you need to BE it to understand IT. IT can understands itself.

Infinite Consciousness/Reality/True You can understand itself. What else could be there to understand It? You just can't do it while separate self arisings move in you, and are believed. By definition.

The Totality can understand itself. If it is imagined and misunderstood to be cut in two (separate self arising), it can't. For Reality/True You to understand itself, you need some kind of "High-Speed-Search-of-the emptiness(mere appearance)-of-separate-self-arisings-in-your-mindstream". What a designation :ph34r:9_9

The training and automizing of this is a merry-go-round of Awakenings/States -> realizations/understandings -> Awakenings/states -> ... ,  go upwards in levels of understandings, until the bucket breaks....

Have fun exploring!

Yes, I’ve experienced non-locality on mushrooms, it’s very strange.  Like the location of one object can only be understood relative to another object, but this entire field of awareness has no location.  Everything you might think you are has always existed nowhere
