I'm making a thread drawing examples of ego based love vs divine, egoless love.

 

I'll start off with movie depictions of the different kinds of love. I'm always surprised at all the new things I've noticed since starting this work.

Jesus. This image about Jesus almost made me puke. This thing didnt even exist,how that could be ego-less love? Lol

I just believe that unconditional Love is something that doesnt have to have necessarily an object of attention. It is unconditional too. The word its self explanatory.

Conditional love is the opposite and its painful,only under some certain conditions,you cant deeply feel it because its nature is shallow

@egoeimai I'm using media depictions to illustrate; Star Wars still does a good example of demonstrating ego-based love.

Divine love is unconditional. It's beautiful. It never expects anything in return. It never considers love as a favor but an act of care and compassion. Genuine compassion comes from a genuine intention to do good. Whereas other forms of love are like masks, they have something else going on behind those masks. True love is exceptional and rare to find. Egoic love crumbles when put to the test.
