The movie ain't no good, but the redneck dialect is enjoyable. Turns out that dialect is called Appalachian English. It's the reason why Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men is one of my favorite books.

the acting was not great.

The performances are nothing special. The story ain't great neither. I watched the movie because it's on WGA's 101 Greatest Screenplays of the 21st Century list, but I think it's worth skipping.
