Benefits of Donating Blood?

3 posts in this topic

I consume about 350g of organic ground beef a day. Its my main source of calories. It makes me feel good. Organic chicken is almost 3 times as expensive.

I somewhat worry about too much iron intake over the long run

Thoughts and risk/benefit analysis guys?

That's only 38% daily value of iron right? If you start feeling off question it. I had a buddy od on iron, he lived, we were kids and he ate flintstone vitamins as candy.

I'd be worried about digestive track cancer, or clogged arteries.

Just ask your doctor to run the full iron panel (blood test) every 3 months at the doctor's office. If you see a rising trend, then indeed blood donation or cutting down on the beef is a possible solution.
