My perspective on the Andrew tate scandal

16 posts in this topic

As a woman I used to be that girl who agreed with him. This is only a few months back when I actually started waking up. I used to have a boyfriend who also started listening to him and we both started agreeing on what he taught, primarily about women. Much to my own surprise after breaking out of control and manipulation from my ex (when I broke up with him) I got to realise what true misogyny meant. The reason he would resonate so much with Andrew was because my ex had severe mommy issues and severe cultural indoctrination (also since we live in a 3rd world country). I do agree with Andrew on a few points that women from the West are mostly fundamentally flawed and that men are becoming too feminine. However I did not realise the depths of manipulation and trauma such men have been through until I got out of my relationship:

1. These men have severe trauma from abandonment issues in the past

2. It is primarily a spiral dynamics blue stage

3. In their minds, they consider all women to be the same as they have never actually experienced an actualized woman who can be a mother, "boss b***", and a wife all at once

4. They attract low value women into their lifes because they vibrate on the same frequency as them and they use those experiences to justify their misogynistic claims

5. In their minds controlling a woman is the only way to maintain peace in society which is a stage blue dominant theme

6. I was manipulated as well...to think that hyper Masculine men are the only ones who can keep you safe (until I actually came across a well balanced man, a man on my mental level who was an exquisite balance of fem and masc)...that actually opened my eyes

7. They have grown up seeing their fathers treating their mothers a certain way to hold control in the household so they adopt that as well and refrain from doing any self development work to question their beliefs of mainstream media and culture

8. I believe that women who fall into the traps of such men (or agree with them) are primarily driven by daddy issues. ( I was one too, until I broke free from the trauma). They are weaker women, and in my eyes such women do anything they can to justify such men. I have such women in my society who walk around in burqas and willing accept that they are a distraction and disgrace to society, they are okay with being housewives, being cheated on, being forcefully pursued to have 10 children while dying slowly, being even beaten by their Husbands is justifiable to them. They justify it by saying that it increases their good deeds in the eyes of God

9. Women like these are a primary driving force to the power of such men like Andrew tate. They do no believe that they can meet the mental level of a man, so they believe that they are only good as housewives. Then what am I?...haven't I gotten so far after doing self actualization?....why is it that I hold skills like coding, science, introspection, and business while most women in my society are scared of doing such things? Why have women become so victim minded? I'm not a feminist, most men would perceive me as intellectual even the sd stage blue dominant ones. I am not bragging but simply put, I have done a lot of work to get where I am and I still respect gender differences between a man and a woman and I embrace my femininity more than my masculinity. Why can't other woman do this too?

10. Andrew says women are nothing but a sex object, they just boost your ego and they are there just to look pretty besides you. Again an example of low value women

Here are some things that I agree with Andrew on:

1. Men are more logical by nature while women are emotionally driven. I am a logical woman as well...because I did a lot of work on myself but I can say that my logic and emotional sides are balanced. Of course there can be exceptions

2. Men have to pay on dates more than women do. Of course! I would love if the man takes the leading role as a provider despite the fact if I earn myself. I would like to stay in my feminine energy around him and make him feel Empowered

3. Most western women are fundamentally flawed. They swing the pendulum to the extreme left. The onlyfans, lashes, make up, feminist type of bs

4. Society has made men feminine. Again an example of swinging the pendulum to the extreme.

There's much more...but this is all I can write here.

Again, I do not know any better than anyone else. I'm just an average girl. There is still so much I have to learn and i know nothing. Offer your perspective as it would make me more aware and conscious. Peace ✌️

Tate demonizes feminism but feminism isn't bad or dangerous. Men like him fear equality because it means loosing their power and privilege as men.

 I'm a feminist and I don't bite. And I'm also pretty balanced. And pretty;)Most of the feminist women I've met in my life were pretty feminine balanced and higher in consciousness than the average woman. I had a masculine boss and she said that she hate feminism because feminists are all extremely masculine. The irony was that she acted like a man herself and she had no real clue about feminism, she only copied the same sentences that insecure men say about feminism and they also have no clue.

It's like expecting a fish to question the water it's in. It's hard. Those women don't know better. This is all they know and their survival depends on being that way. In many places in the world it's still dangerous to break the status quo as a woman. Especially in closed and tribal cultures.

I don't know how I would have behaved if I grew in the same situation to be honest. It's easy to judge other women as a woman who lives in the first world country, who have access to the internet and aware to empowering feministic ideas since a young age myself. Many women in the world never read or hear such things, they even can't imagine that a woman can be something beyond a children machine.

I also more attracted to a man who pays on dates.

But there are men who might buy you something and then expect from you sex in return. He might behave as if he bought you and put pressure on you to return the 'invesment'.

The logic behind paying 50%-50% is to screen out this type of men.

But overall as long as a man pays on dates because this is who he is with women and not because he wants something in return, it's all fine and I'm pro. And if someone chooses not to pay 100% because some financial struggles I won't judge him, especially if he's an awesome person with goals and vision in life.

I don't like the term 'fundamentally flawed'. Only a misogynist like Tate can use such an awful term.

About OnlyFans being a feminist thing? I don't agree that it's a feminist thing because it's all made for the male gaze after all and women are still objectified. Maybe some women justify it by saying that it's a feminist act but believe me, there are much more feministic acts than this. Same with lashes and make-up, it's not more feministic than not wearing them.

@Lila9 I think I might have used the term wrongly I just googled. What I meant was that according to my experience and perspective which is still limited I see some western women as damaged and they are highly unaware of themselves lacking introspection

Yeah there are various types. I mean, I've seen various types of women who define themselves as feminists. Different women have different variables of feminism and execution of feminism in their life. And feminism looks different in any SD stage. There are red, blue, orange, green, yellow feminists and so on. More common in green and above though but feminists in lowers stages are exist.

The core idea of feminism is that women are no lesser than men. I agree with that and I think that this belief is enough in order to be a feminist. At least for me.

@Hibahere Trust me they exist but they don't get space in media becuase they are to controversial, LOL!

Germaine Greer is a great feminist in my opinion(who has been controversial ), I don't fully agree with her but she makes many valid points and I respect the shit out of her. Modern feminsts today have no clue about the history of feminism which is embarissing and have not read or done any real research. They just think that screaming equality is feminism, but actually many feminists have been critiscising the idea of equality as being conservetive, particuraly feminists who also lable themsleves anarhcists and/or libetarians. Even if you are not an anarchist at all, I think looking up the perspective of these feminsists (Emma Goldman is one example) is a good idea becuase anarchists really ask the question what means to be human in a different way. I generally think everybody should read some anarchist litterature becasue you will get a completey different understanding of society, even if you don't agree. Things like free education is an anarchist idea from the beginning, for example.

Anyways, there are many types of feminsts out there and saying that onlyfans is feminism is kind of wrong. Many feminists are "Anti sexwork" and there are many opinions on the topic. Radical feministst for example sees sexwork as a result of unfortunate situations. A woman who is a sexwoker is so becuse she is poor, an addict, have mentalhealth issues etc. Basicly the idea here is that a woman would not willingly be a sexworker and that a woman cannot do sexwork and be happy with it. While a sexpositive feminist on the other hand might say that a woman actually can choose sexwork from free will and even if she does it out of poverty for example it does not mean she is suffering from doing sexwork. Sexposivie feminists are usally more on the liberal/libetarian side, while radical feminists tend to be more marxist and/or communist. Some feminsits belive that we are androgynous and that we are socialised into male and female, while some feminsts seperate men and women and think that biology plays a part.

Some feminsts topics include:

* Sexwork ( as mentioned)

* Child Birth/ Pregnancy/Breasfeeding

* Domestic violence

* Abortion

* Female mutilation

* Education

* relationships

* Body image

*Sexuality
