I came across a very strange trip report where a 22 year old dude said he SMOKED mushrooms 

IS there such an animal?

But I wouldn’t try it. Even plugging them sounds better to me

Most dry plants are smokable. They have absolutely nothing to offer though except a few.  

You can smoke dry lavender to relax

My guess is that would completely destroy psilocybin and psilocin.

Yes it will completely destroy the psilocybin. And it would be extremely harsh on your lungs not to mention all the things that could go wrong with the fungal exposure. Just really stupid all around and won't result in a trip.

4-aco-DMT is the closest thing to psilocybin that’s available and yes you can plug that, but come on… how hilarious is it to plug whole shrooms
