@Vajra interesting, Thanks for sharing. This sounds more like Meditation and less like tantric practice.

How played tantric practice into this?

I call it Tantric not as sex or special breath excercise, but as what Consciousness is doing. Consciousness is literally merging with Matter. That is not a one-time-realization, but a complete rewiring of the entire system. It is Real, Full-Body Awakening.

It was never actually possible before this. Tantra is relationship. Primarily with yourself and then with everything else. As such, Intimacy becomes the very base of your Being.

@Vajra Interesting. You have inspired me to look further into it.

Ok, one more piece that I wrote today:

Intestines are a dark place for most of us - untouched, unseen. Somehow, we are afraid of what might be lying there. The intestines are subject to a lot of emotional storage. Bringing Light into the intestines means going through anything that we've stored there. This is often a time for pain, but also a time for joy. The emptying, though not easy, is what brings an greater freedom. With the intestines beinh freed and brought to Light, there comes a simple-profound well-being. We simply feel good. There is a warmth, a friendliness, a cosiness to just being a body. It is a profound-simple freedom.

I suggest you explore what it means to be intimate with your own body.

Do you do Lingam massages? Are there any woman coming to massages? Have you seen anyone having an intense spiritual experience after receiving a tantra session?

Fear is just a thought

The way he speaks about tantra is not about the physical sexual practices

@Vajra Thank you! I have done a lot of healing around being vulnerable and letting others love me, but I still have more to do.

My practice is similar to yours, but I'm not sure this qualifies as tantra. Tantra is very particular, the right rituals need to be done at the right time, the right mantras chanted a hundred thousand times, devotional work needs to be done, sacrifices to deities and so on. The ultimate goal of tantra is to become the living embodiment of a deity, basically become possessed by the spirit of the deity at all times. These are also particular tantric deities the fierce or dark aspects of mainstream deities, that would scare most people. Bhairava, Bhairavi, Chamunda, Mahakali and so forth.

Putting the body to sleep

It is completely possible to put the body to sleep without loosing consciousness. Here is how it goes:

The habit of "blacking out" while the body is falling asleep is not followed. Instead, we are watching the processes we call 'falling asleep'. They are muscular and largely energetic.

There are a few points where we can stumble as the energies are changing, as they are transitions of a sort and an identity can latch itself there, that will cause us to go unconscious.

1. As the animal falls asleep and our attention transitions primarily to the subtle dimension. - in the body it is experienced as everything below the chest settles.

2. As we leave the physical body altogether. - this is when the last holding in the head releases and we - Consciousness - falls completely into the subtle dimension.

Here is the interesting part. As we are hanging out there, one of the things that will happen is that at some point a voice will come and say something like - "hey! But when do I get my rest?" (even though the physical body is already asleep.) It is the belief that Consciousness needs rest. Here it can be dealt with.
