Well, Sorry for commenting without being asked. And also I don't know you and what I said may be false. I mean the destructive aggressiveness, the unstoppable energy that will never stop until only the truth remains. but it's not that you lack it, it's that almost everyone lacks. The necessary suffering could give you this.

Leo is a sick man. His body is failing him and he is suffering quite a lot for it. This obviously incentivises him to escape from physicality as much as possible.

Aren’t we all trying to escape.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Yeah, @Thought Art has almost everything. intelligence, integrity, balls, and the necessary suffering and loneliness. It lacks... as I would say... a bit of the eye of the tiger. but with time life will give it

He has that too he just has one weakness.  Age.

@Nilsi I can tell from the language you’re using that your perspective is largely inspired by Nietzsche.  It’s quite ironic that Nietzsche famously had major health problems, was financially dependent on family members, was unsuccessful with women, and spent the last decade of his life in an insane asylum.

And yet in my view Nietzsche was still one of the most brilliant philosophers in history.  All of my wisdom comes from flawed sources, I think the point of this work is to synthesize the best available ideas in a way that works best in your own life.

Not that it’s invalid to point out that some details of Leo’s personal life might be cause for concern, but we really don’t have much information, so it’s largely speculation.  And I think it should be expected that going that deep with psychedelics is bound to cause some degree of destabilization

He wasnt enlightened.  And even if he was who cares.  The best material is here.  The material here goes far beyond Nietzche..or Descartes, or any of them.  They weren't mystics sadly.

Sounds like a stretch, my friend.  Quite the stretch.

Because you haven't listened.  Not to all of it and not with an open mind.   Trust me - what is here will thrust you beyond philosophy, logic, and academia.  It will thrust you into turquoise - into the mystical realm.  But hey - don't listen. It's no skin off my back.

I think the OP has a point.  If your philosophy and spiritual growth results in a personal life which is falling apart, then what the hell are you doing?  A good philosophy and good spiritual practice should accomplish both.  If your system isn't accomplishing both, it is flawed, and needs to be worked on.  It seems possible that the "ultimate teachings" by Actualized.org could be flawed in such a way.  If so, I'd be very curious to see what kind of patch could fix the bugs.

*note, in my above post I am not directly referring to Leo, I actually have no idea how he's doing on a personal level.  But I have seen other people on this path all but fall-apart, both physically and mentally.  Bentinho Massaro's crew comes to mind as an example, but I could list quite a few if I had the incentive.

You will die but also return.  You will be re-born.  I doubt Massaro is actually enlightened

At least they fail to impress others

@bmcnicho Id like to add that yeah, Neitzche lived a miserable life where he boredered on madness much of the time. I think he also had extreme pain and suffering from Gut issues.

This seems like a criticism of Leo’s personality mainly. The OP makes some decent points, but I think Leo has a burden on his shoulders trying to maintain the forum as well as his teachings at a high standard. Responsibility which is heavily influenced by the behavior of others can be quite taxing in many ways.

I think Leo is overall a great teacher with some human faults, and I wonder why anyone would try to reasonably expect more than that.

What did the stage orange scientist call the stage blue fundamentalist for claiming YHWH intentionally caused Noah’s great flood?

Delugional.

I'm doing this for you btw.

I have "escaped the cave" long ago. This is a post-enlightenment teaching, if you want to call it that.

My point is simple: honor life, health, growth and become great - and don't escape into fantasies of some other, more just, perfect world where everyone and everything is equal -- that's what I mean by world-weary.

“Did you ever say Yes to a single joy? O my friends, then you said Yes to all woe as well. All things are chained and entwined together, all things are in love; if ever you wanted one moment twice, if ever you said: ‘You please me, happiness! Abide, moment!’ then you wanted everything to return!” - Friedrich Nietzsche

You're the only one who seems to get it.

And beyond your personal life (which I really couldn't care about less) society at large will fall apart and degenerate with such memes and ideas taking hold (as they are with socialism and postmodernism - really just a mild (or not so mild) version of nihilism) and spreading through the collective consciousness.
