Harry and Megan about Truth and Institutional Gasligthing

9 posts in this topic

What you guys can add about the Harry and Megan situation? For me as far as I saw in the Documentary.

First: When their kids aske about how they meet, they will be able to watch it. Cool.

Second: when you are a public figure is in your interest to take in your hands your reputation. What anyone of us would do with media sharing stories about who we were and watching our lifes 24/7. ?

Well, answering my own questions.

From what I observe the couple is doing nothing but Public Relation of their own image.

I just heard another day the conection of the word Cosmos with Cosmetic, explaning that Cosmos meaning the whole so cosmetic is this act of making something fragmented become more whole by using make up. And we see clearly the difference in beauty when someone do a good make up.

The Royal family is doing cosmetics in they image since ever.

Is like having your picture in the streets everyday and anyone can come and vandalize it as they want. Tabloids have no commitment with truth but with money and sensacionalism, So Harry and Megan could see that, and  if they let it happen,  the tabloids were creating their public image, and  was not working, they notice how the media ruined Diana life, so by doing a documentary themselfs they could decide to tell the narrative they wanted.

Is not what basicaly all people in the media are doing? Trying to save their faces in public?

Public image cosmetics

I mean, as soon as you put your image in the media you need to daily affirm to what you stand using your opinions the keep the instituition called "self" intact from public vandalism. Of course that by the same practice of trying to keep you face by giving your opinion you can vadalize you image yourself that in a sense was what Tate did.

There is good PR and bad PR . And some say that better bad PR than no PR.

Everything that has a form, needs constant renovation to dont fall into entropy, from our bodies, minds, worldviews,a relationship,a family, a city, country, ideologies, the food in your refrigerator, books in a library, the public image of a brand...

Beautiful post! I'll add my 50 cents to this situation.

Just a preface, I am gonna be a bit biased as I'm British conservative with some several small linings of traditionalist, nationalist, socialist and progressive ideals. I'm not fully conservative as I'm also cosmopolitan more than Borrs Johnson would ever dream of being.

In my complex opinion, yes, the royal family has been doing a lot of PR makeup and all, just as most ideologies would do for their ego collective survival, because if they didn't they would have been overthrown earlier in history just like the French monarchy and the Zars, the Russian monarchy. So, they adapted, despite some resistance to some changes, far more quicker than other monarchies worldwide whilst retaining some features of traditional cultural structures.

This specific thing with Harry and Megan, was, and this part is intuitive speculation because I've met people like this and dealt with some of their manipulative behaviors, is largely the schemes orchestrated by Megan, because before Harry met Megan he actually behaved himself properly like a prince. That is, until he met Megan, dated, married and had a child with her, that it changed his way of thinking and being. This, plus how the royal family treated her, and how she didn't like to have to be near the bottom of the hierarchy of the family titles, made her jaded towards the royal family. Ever since then, and I speculate the stage of development, cognition, morality, personality types and her likely having Narcissism and sociopathy because she really wanted to be the next Queen, ego development, life experiences and other lines of development, plus taking into account her upbringing and type of family and familial relationships she has, that her long term goal is to humiliated the royal family and do so through puppeteering Harry into saying inflammatory comments towards the Royal family as much as possible, trying to paint this narrative of them as being too strict and too this and that, which is partially true but the factors are taken and extremified to suit his and her narrative against the royal family.

In my humble opinion, they really have a problem with the tabloids and the sensational hit pieces made about them, more so than the royal family themselves, but the situation has developed such that they are now too invested into this warfare, and attention seeking as much as possible the outrages for his and her detractors whilst leveraging support from their fan base. Therefore, this entire situation is just one big dramatization, not worth even my time.

@Danioover9000 Yes, I could  feel this vibes from the Miniserie on Netflix too. There was a point when I was tired of self-Vanillation of the couple( I created this term). So yes, I a long run this story will fall into oblivion as Tate story and all scandals around it. Thank for your 50cents, I can have coffee tomorrow.

I am pasting here the post from Leo Blog related with this topic.

Well, I think I dont need any other words than this ones. If this dont make sense to someone I dont know what will make. I lived in London for 1 year and I felt so weird with how some people had bias to this Royal Theater. But many knew and know that is just an attachment for a relic that dont fit anymore the future. Is just a die hard tradition.

Royalty & Monarchy Is Toxic

January 13, 2023

Prince Harry's autobiography tell-all book is finally being released and it paints an ugly picture of the inner workings of British Royalty. I have never been one to follow the tabloids about the British Royal Family — I've always seen it as nonsense on stilts — but this account is worth reading into because it shows you how corrupting royalty is to the mind and why it should simply not exist.

Read this nice Vox summary of the book.

There is nothing worse for one's personal and spiritual development than being raised in the lap of luxury, wealth, and privilege. And worse of all is being raised into royalty. You may think it would be like winning the lottery, but unearned wealth, fame, and power are a very toxic thing to the mind, feeding all its weaknesses, biases, and pettiness.

Royalty shouldn't exist not merely because it is grossly unfair to hard-working people all around the world, but because it is even toxic to those inside the family. Royalty is not a proper position for anyone in the world because it is fundamentally anti-democratic, anti-egalitarian, anti-meritocractic, and anti-spiritual. Nobody on this planet deserves to be royalty because fundamentally everyone is of equal spiritual worth. No one should be born into any special positions of privilege, nor should anyone even be allowed to work their way into such positions. These positions are designed for nothing but ego and simply shouldn't exist.

The very concept & structure of royalty is one of the greatest scams perpetrated on the human race. It is the spiritual duty of any wise & developed individual to quit any schemes of royalty they were born under. In not doing so they are cowards and frauds, and they should be look upon as fools. Anyone wearing a royal hat — unless it's a Halloween costume — is to be mocked and ridiculed until they feel embarrassed for thinking that this ploy would actually fool anyone.

One of the best decisions you can make in your life is to reject the pursuit of luxury & status. Simply make the decision to reject them once and for all, and never look back. You will have lost nothing, I promise. There is nothing that will kill your happiness & spiritual development more than the desire for luxury & status. Do not get ensnared by these frivolous fabrications of man. Focus instead on your existential connection to life & consciousness. Focus on challenging yourself to pursue the highest levels of psychological development — this is the real crown jewel. How dumb do you have to be to think that you can replace God with a man-made hat and have a satisfying life? Happiness does not come in hat form — unless it's one of my goofy Halloween hats!

Do not envy these high-status celebrities, politicians, and hedge fund babies. Their privileged position means that they will never become as strong, as developed, as happy, as conscious as you. The good life is not measured in luxury and comfort, it is measured in how hard you work to polish yourself into a serious, solid character. This journey requires external pressures and challenges that test you to your core — where no rich daddy can come and bail you out. Character & consciousness is forged in the furnace of emotional labor. And all that luxury and pampering is precisely the avoidance of emotional labor.

Prince/King Charles is so spoiled that he has servants prepare his toothbrush every morning by squeezing toothpaste onto it for him with white gloves. I couldn't make this shit up! Just imagine what kind of rotten ego that must lead to. I don't even want to know.

One of the things I'm most grateful for in life is that I was born into a relatively unprivileged immigrant family that struggled with money. Just knowing from a young age that I would have to work hard to support myself shaped the core of my character. It gave me a serious edge which I would not have if my family was financially secure. If you want to raise a good child, do not give them any more financial support then they would get in an upper middle-class family. You cannot buy good character nor psychological development for your children — which is the biggest thing they need to ace life. But you can teach it to them, by first embodying it yourself.

Be ware, the human mind & body are very prone to spoilage when not sufficiently stressed. Therefore, do not wish for the easy life and do not envy those who seem to have it easy. You are not looking for easy, you are looking for meaningful. You are looking to undertake your own personal hero's journey, full of challenge & growth. And you don't need any handouts or shortcuts. The journey is the reward.

I just commented on your other thread about the royalty and Leo's take, but just a heads up, duplicate posts or threads are not allowed, so if you find that other thread of yours is locked, I didn't report, and it's against forum guidelines. So, just a heads up in case.

@Danioover9000 oh thank you i will erase this one. How do i delete?

I think it's okay to leave it be, as it's not entirely identical to the other post, it's mostly worded different without the full description of the blog post, same idea being talked. I think it's ok for now but just a head's up as it's up to the moderators to decide if it's exactly a duplicate thread.

In future, if you did post a duplicate identical thread word for word, you can click on moderator action either somewhere on the top or bottom of the post and click hide, or just report your own thread as being a duplicate, but I think this one is fine. A locked thread is not the end of the world.
