Buffed butterfly (Another Dalton-like idea 6)

Butterfly gymrat. Full of muscles, is very insecure and feels easily attacked. When it feels attacked it will knock your ass out.

The phenomenal experience of dull survival

Our lives is all about survival, we just aren't conscious of it as much as it is less direct. So coming in contact with "raw" survival triggers certain emotions. This scene of Godzilla swallowing king ghidorah made me remember a moment when a girl spoke about the great genetics of a guy (in a sexual context) as it triggered a very similar consciousness in me this unfiltered raw look at survival. A mix of clearness, rawness, nausea, instinctiveness, pulsation, a certain aliveness, a certain will for power, unholiness and order.

I cant really tell what I should make out of this even though I had plenty of time to think about it.

Humans genius potential

Some people in my life often got me to contemplate which areas in life take the most intelligence to comprehend. For example you could be very mathematically intelligent and have a huge bias towards that so that you order peoples general intelligence just after mathematical intelligence.

Now this thought just struck me. First I always had the feeling that each area in life had their own types of geniuses, from Albert Einstein in physics, to Mozart in music or Freud in Psychology. All of them were geniuses in their own regard and I always felt like they were comparable in a certain way. Like they all had this genius quality to them which simply manifested itself through a different kind of medium. And so - What if we just took it as a high probability that in all areas of life there are incredible brains and the limits of different areas of expertise are the limits of our great brains. I mean that’s how it has to be when people try their best in each area. Even if an area is "simpler“. Well then that means that you can go even deeper in that area which means that eventually it will be just as hard as a "harder“ area of expertise because you won’t get as deep into it.

(It's from a video and not a video call btw.)

The face of a person who is sunken in his curiosity. What an odd yet nostalgic face expression in this day of age where everything is short lived.

Meta problem - Daniel Schmachtenberger

I have been listening to Daniel Schmachtenberger lately. A reoccurring theme in his talks is the meta problem: Things which evolutionary win often aren't the things which are good. For example back in the days nature loving hippie communities lost against egoistical brutal kind of communities and so the genes of the egoistical brutal kind of people got through and we are all now fucked up because of that and wish we be and live in a place with nature loving hippies. It also applies to ideas: The idea which is most marketable wins over other ideas which might be better but not as marketable.

If one wants to change the system there is no way to get around these machanisms. One needs to embace them. If one wants to change the system he has got to put himself in a strong position in the system so he can use his power to change the system for the better.

This case of cars represents that idea actualized really well I think. The producer of the film were in a position of power as they could deliver a piece of entertainment/ art to a very big audience. The cars are cool especially Lightning McQueen. And for the big finale McQueen chooses empathy over winning, stage green over stage orange. I remember what an emotional moment that was for me as a kid and how much it got me thinking. I got so much development out of that.

Beautiful math

So beautiful. It's rare when something brings me into awe.

Nothingness

What fascinated me first were not the geometrical shapes but the nothingness between it. Maybe because at the beginning of the video you look into the deep vastness of it and the geometrical shapes maybe contribute to a certain perception of it. I wanted to jump into the nothingness. Without fear. That really must be a special kind of experience.

That you act good won't make your life easier and it won't make the world at large and not even the people around you much better. Do you still act good despite that just for its own sake?

Screw love songs, they are all so full of shit. THIS is something SOLID. Something worthy to invest your sorrow and tears into.

Alan Watts on Love

How much spiritual understanding can be conveyed with the right words is astonishing. Thats how spirituality can heal on a practical level. This could get through to a lost soul.

Love is not something that is a sort of rare commodity

everybody has it

existence is love

because you see in tying up love in knots and becoming incapable of it you cant destroy this energy

when you won't love and you won't let it out the thing comes out in the form of self-destruction

romantic head cook (Another Dalton-like idea 7)

"Every meal I prepare is a unique expression of love; I can love wild with a meal grilled and styled, I can love sweet with a chocolate treat, I can love tender with a salmon sender, I can love passionate with chicken in marinate.

We eat three meals a day, for hunger won't wait or sway. We were given no choice but to Love!"

I recently discovered a bit of a passion for writing theatre plays - well at least parts of theatre plays. I often come up with certain scenes that could have a very strong effect but out of my chill creative spirit doesn't rise anything beyond that. It's still fun to write parts though and maybe if I collect enough parts I can intelligently put them together into one play. So here we go:

Play - Unloved, Unf+cked and Untouched:

Scene 1:
(String lights and candles tenderly illuminate the dark decorated room.)

// A couple freshly in love is dancing. Both dont dance perfectly but it doesnt matter.

Miriam: We keep on screwing up the rotation.
Edward: This time we'll get it.
// they kind of get the rotation right
Edward: See I told you we would get it.
Miriam: Wow I am impressed.
Edward: Now let's do a reverse rotation.
Miriam: Okay.
// They completely screw up and laugh
Miriam: What was that?
// kissing
Edward: I might overshot a little.
// kissing
Miriam: Thats so you.
// kissing
Edward: You know I dont even care about anything anymore as long as I am with you.
Miriam: I feel the same way.
// intense kissing
Miriam: I just had a vision for the both of us. What if...
// the scene suddenly freezes as the movie was manually stopped
Ben: I cant take this shit anymore. Yes this play is about me, not about them. Yeah I didnt choose to be me as well. And yes I wish just as much as you wish that we would continue to see this couple instead of a fatass like me. But here we are. Somehow this show is about a worthless fatass like me, oh god. Now go screw yourself it's the fatasses show now.
// the couples runs away

Scene 2:
Ben: So how did I get here. I never had a girlfriend. Well I never had sex or even a kiss. Hell I cant even remember when I last got a hug. ...

Another subtle observation - thoughts create our consciousness:

Our thoughts about reality create our happiness and consciousness to a large extend. If I thought differently about reality I would have a different state of consciousness about it. I could be in ecstasy right now if I had the right thoughts about reality.
Not a new information perhaps but when you observe it directly it becomes very insightful. Thats kind of the second insight about this insight, that the difference between knowing and directly experiencing is huge:
So my initial thoughts about it are, could one engineer a kind of thought system that would put one in a positive state of consciousness all the time? Is the situation a human is in possible to contextualize in a positive way all the time or is there no way to avoid calling out harsh "realities"? What would be its limits? Is god necessary for a positive thought system? How is a positive thought system already established? Could this meta realization be the key to built a thought system from the buttom up?

Normal

Normal is how the collective distorts reality to fit its survival challenges at a certain time.

Play - Unloved, Unf+cked and Untouched:

Scene: ??

note: It's well known that if elephants dont experience love they die.

// scene at a funfair. A women is producing and selling ballon animals to children. Ben is watching as she blows air into the balloon elephant.

ballon-saleswomen: Is there anything I can do for you?
child: I want an elephant.
ballon-saleswomen: Your wish is my command.
ballon-saleswomen: There you go. Thats 4 dollars please.
ballon-saleswomen: Thank you, enjoy your elephant.
// the line is empty, the saleswomen notices Ben looking at the ballon elephant
ballon-saleswomen: They look good right? One ballon animals is 4 dollars, you can get 3 for the price of 10 dollars.
Ben: No thanks, there isnt one with the right form for me.

// later that scene, Ben has a metaphysical realization about the nature of love and in that moment a ballon bursts

ballon-saleswomen: Oops, that usually doesnt happen.

Fashion

Fashion can be a powerful tool. There is a saying in Germany that says: "Kleider machen Menschen" which translates to "clothes make people". And there is some truth to that.
In Psychology it was shown that acting out the symptoms of positive emotions like being upright and open, itself, makes better mood. What a trick.
Fashion is kind of similar in this way. If you wear good clothes all the time you kind of expect of yourself more.
I have a certain vision of myself and a clothing style that fits that vision of me. Maybe the clothes can give me a boost. "Fake it till you make it" I guess.

Play: Unf+cked, Unloved, Untouched:

Scene 3:

// Human size Figures of Godzilla and Kong invite customer to the fantasy store

Ben: And yes as you expect of a fatass like me I go to a fantasy store because I have nothing better to do with my free time.
// Ben enters the fantasy store and starts searching the items, then
Ben sees his crush Jessica and becomes scared. He acts as though he didnt see her and hastily searches through different figures.
// Meanwhile Kong suddenly becomes alive. Kong starts becoming very fight or flight alive and makes signs of wanting to leave the match, but then decides to tap Godzilla awkwardly for a match, while Ben goes up to Jessica.
Ben: Oh hi Jessica, I havent seen you there.
Jessica: Oh hi Ben. What are you doing here?
// Godzilla becomes aware
Ben: Well I just wanted to buy a new Kong Figure for my collection.
// Godzilla casually gets the upper hand
Jessica: Oh I love it.
Ben: Yeah I really like all of the detail. Like the detail in the hair and in the eyes looks great.
// Kong makes some desperate moves, Godzilla isnt impressed in the slightest
Jessica: Oh wow.
Ben: And what are you doing here?
// Kong blindly makes a hit and misses
Jessica: I am buying this dnd würfel.
Ben: Thats cool.
Jessica: Yeah I love that one.
Ben: ...
// Godzilla wants Ben to keep attacking
Jessica: Well it was nice seeing you Ben, will you be in DnD next week?
Ben: Yeah sure I will join.
Jessica: Alright see you then.
// Godzilla walks off slow and bored
// Ben looks after Jessica. As she walks off their eyes meet. Jessica waves to Ben a little forced, while Godzilla makes an intimidating sign with her fist.
// Ben sits outside the store next to Kong. While Ben sits there looking in the distance kong walks circles in complete rage. He then accepts his defeat and sits on his ass. Then Ben becomes active again and stands up.

That way of thinking is corruption. What being fashionable means is largely dictated by societies group think. So by wanting to be fashionable you look for a high status position in society. It's mostly not an intrinsic motivation. If I wanted to pursue something because my outfit pushes me in this direction I am playing the game of group think, so I am pretending and loose the real thing.

Heartbroken

Project for sometime in the future perhaps. Imagine you have a large block of glass, shaped like a heart preferably and you let that thing explode in a thousand pieces. Then you put the pieces all together into something new and beautiful. The metaphor is obvious but beautiful and also deep because there are an infinite number of ways to put the pieces back together.

If you could find material which breaks in ways that are suitable for building (like Lego) you could make a set out of it and sell it. A creative project for heartbroken people to heal.
