Got into a car accident

14 posts in this topic

Weird Ukrainian car driver just stopped in the middle of a highway so he wouldn't miss a turn, I had to hit full break and the truck behind me ran into me. The Ukrainian guy saw the mess he created and decided just to drive off. So I was left to my devices with the truck driver (who ran into me) and he started blaming me.

This accident showed me that I'm not spiritual. I got really mad to what happened and how awful people can be. The Ukrainian guy for blocking me on a highway (basically full stop waiting at an intersection) and the truck driver behind me for blaming me for running into me.

I could have done nothing differently, I was basically squeezed by two idiots on the road. One drove off, the other blaming me. So I called the police and they sorted things out. At least the police were nice (god bless SD blue), but basically this was kind of a breaking point. All stupid shit that happened to me in the last years were done unto me by people with low consciousnesses. I'm really at the point to turn full Andrew Tate and drop this spirituality bull shit.

Suffering is God's grace. Notice how it took pain for you to realize the truth of your feelings? Now stay true to your feelings, stop burying them down under. If you think Spirituality is B.S. then ask yourself why and if the path is not something you really desire drop it all together. You don't have to do it, but notice you were drawn to it for a reason.

But I'll give you some advice, whatever material possessions you attain will never truly bring you happiness.

Good Luck!!

If you keep going further you can reach the peace that passes all understanding.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

@Razard86  I started identifying with my car. It is hard not to do so: I made so many road trips with it. It has become a part of me. This accident exposed me that I have a relationship with my car that I didn't know I had.  Also when that 20-25 ton truck ran into me I felt so much force, that it kind of humbled me, it made me so small and fragile. Death is really around the corner at all times.

What is your definition of spirituality to begin with? Where the belief that being "mad" is "non spiritual" has came from?

And what would have changed if you acted like AT? What do you think AT would have done if he had to go through the same accident?

I believe that all the people you meet, consciousnesses or no are a part of your spiritual journey including the things that happen to you.

Every experience or encounter in life is aimed to teach you something or to enlighten your eyes to something in order to raise your level of consciousnesses.

If you don't get the lesson it will repeat itself again and again in your life in various variations until you get it and then you'll experience more advanced lessons until you transcend them all.

Peope think that spirituality is soft and comfy or it's only about mediating, doing drugs and be nice but it's not true. It's the complete opposite of "soft". I want to see mister AT face ego death, his biggest insecurities and being aware of his shadows without massive denial and without freaking out. You have to be a real badass to seriously pursue a spiritual path.

It seems like that's the lesson you've learned from the accident. After learning this lesson, how do you think you would implement this in your life? What would change in your life, relationship to life, to yourself, after this life threatening experience?

I have become more realistic. A lot of people are just stupid or careless or heartless. To expect the best of everybody is arrogance and that is what I discovered. If I don't change my outlook on people I will be frustrated for the rest of my life. I got sandwiched between two people: what could I have done differently? Probably hit car horn or something.

Actually this accident should made me more spiritual, not less. I discovered the greatest investment is in myself, and not in material things or other people. The thing is that I do sacrifices for others, like I could have not stopped for that Ukrainian car driver but I did. That is something I'm not going to do anymore: my safety first and if that is secured I can think about others. So in that sense I'm going to be more selfish and egotistical.

How would you feel like if somebody did damage to you and just drove off? Or the truck driver who tries to put all the guilt on me?

I'm still doing meditation and shit but I'm definitely going to drop that spiral dynamic green shit. That is not really me. The world is a really harsh place if you are weak so I'm definitely  going to work on not being so weak anymore.

Yeah. That's what those emotions are for.

What would be un-spiritual would be to aim for a way of life that leads to nothing but those types of emotions.

Identity is the cause of your suffering. I found Spirituality back in December and broke through this little identity game that humanity is playing. I can feel anger, sadness, disappointment, sick, in physical pain and still be at peace. The only reason you can ever suffer is if you become the emotion completely.

Why identify with things that are temporary? Emotions are temporary. Your car is temporary. Your memory is temporary. Your life as a human is temporary. If you do not learn to release these attachments, you cannot actually enjoy them because you will be bouncing back and forth with the highs and lows associated with them.

I really wish you could experience what I experience everyday as it doesn't make sense that you can be happy no matter what happens. This better than money, sex, status, etc because you don't have to do anything. You were born happy and socialized into identifying with the body and the story and constructed a psyche that makes you suffer. Doing the work breaks the psyche and reconstructs it in a way that is actually healthy. You can enjoy the human experience, without identifying as an actual human.

But if this work is not for you then stop doing it and go after what you want. Also Spirituality is about complete surrender, so no you don't suppress your emotions you allow them expression just like everything else.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. You need to cry you heal yourself. Crying is healing. Some people just broke your car and screamed at you its like you got jumped.

This experience should make you engage in spirituality more, not less. The mind is the cause of all suffering, and you have to use spirituality to undo the mind’s illusions.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie
