I got the book. It’s alright so far. He is really stressing in the early pages that I may not understand him.

@Thought Art

Yes. Same thing with the book of not knowing.

I think he's doing that to make you consider things differently.

Mastery does not really matter.

Look at Elon Musk. Is he a master at coding? Is he great at building rockets or awesome at engineering car?

What is his actual knowledge with regards to building of rockets or cars?

He's just trolling everyone on twitter. Like I am trolling right now.

@hyruga Sounds problematic to me.

What is problematic?

Are you referring to Elon Musk being the master influencer of the world?

Your attitude towards mastery not really mattering.

It will matter when your wife dies and you have no idea how to be in touch with your emotions.

@hyruga He’s good at cutting the bullshit, putting pressure on AAA teams, marketing, physics, assembling new products as fast as possible and have the balls to fail.

Hard to put into words. He breaks down Mastery into many key components

@CARDOZZO

It’s a great book if you are nerdy and like to contemplate deeply. It also dove tails nicely with those other books on mastery mentioned above. Each books offers different lenses

@Yimpa bad idea. At least don’t just get the audiobook. You really need to read and re-read

I actually always get both versions whenever possible. Some even sync together, which is nice.
